White Horse Temple - The tour guide and driver will meet the guests at their pre-booked Luoyang hotel lobby around 9 am to begin the visit to the White Horse Temple. Founded by Emperor Mingdi in 68 AD, this temple is recognized as the first Buddhist temple in China and is renowned as the “No.1 Ancient Temple of China.”
Shaolin Temple (Monastero Shaolin) - Following this, the tour will proceed to the renowned Shaolin Temple, famous for Shaolin Kung Fu. Visitors will have the opportunity to watch a Kung Fu performance by authentic Shaolin monks. The Shaolin Temple is celebrated not only as a significant Buddhist temple in China but also as the heart of Chinese Kung Fu. Originally built in 495 to house Batuo, a notable Indian monk, the Shaolin Temple is now acclaimed as the “Number One Temple under Heaven” and was designated a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage site in 2010 as part of the “Historic Monuments of Dengfeng.” In the afternoon, guests will be transported back to their hotel in Luoyang.

Longmen Grottoes - In the morning, guests will be driven approximately 30 minutes to explore the Longmen Grottoes, a treasure trove of ancient stone-carving art featuring over 100,000 stone statues ranging from 2 centimeters to 17.14 meters in height, stretching about 1,094 yards along both banks of the Yi River. Located about 12 kilometers from Luoyang city, it is one of the three most significant Buddhist cave and rock carvings in China (2 hours).
Luoyang Museum - After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, the tour will continue to the Luoyang Museum. This historical museum of China showcases over 1,700 cultural and historical artifacts across 5 galleries, representing 5 different periods of social development, including the Primitive Society, the Slavery Society, and the Feudal Society. Note: Luoyang Museum is closed every Monday.
LuoYang LaoCheng LiShi WenHua GuJie - Later, guests will visit Luoyang Old Street, where they can explore intriguing stalls offering crafts and snacks with local historical charm. Afterwards, they will be returned to their hotel.
