Emilie, a sommelier with experience in South Africa, England, and Ireland, along with Leika, her dog mascot and the true star of the show, offers an incredible olfactory journey through the people, flavors, and landscapes that define Corsica’s wine-growing world today. There are approximately ten vineyards around Calvi, and Émilie will choose one or two to highlight the diversity and richness of Corsican wines.
Her tour is crafted to present Corsica through its wines, featuring visits to vineyards and their stories, culminating in a wine tasting. Participants will enjoy a cellar tour, a comprehensive wine tasting, and a serene walk through the vineyard among the vines.
At the conclusion, a fresh, seasonal, and delicious picnic will be served, accompanied by sparkling and still water. The entire experience lasts about 3 hours. Participants will have the opportunity to purchase wines, though there is no obligation to do so.
