Quick way to see the city and learn some history - Fun tour and great way to see some of the main attractions. Easy to fine starting place right in train station. Guide shared interesting history facts and gave us a simple walkable tour with lots of fun things to see.

Great orientation to the town - Nicole was an excellent guide, sharing interesting details with good humour and at a pleasant pace. Left the tour with a sound understanding of the history of Luzern and where we should visit.

A must, great price. - Very interesting, a must do if in the area. Learning the history of the town and how Switzerland operates was interesting.
The tour guide answered all questions well and grew up in luzern.

Excellent tour - Our guide is very knowledgeable about the history of lucerne and provided very timely and sensible comments at every stop. While taking time to provide colorful commentaries along the tour, she managed to keep the pace up and everyone engaged. She also answered all of our questions with helpful answers. Excellent job!

Great information in 90 minutes! - Doris was a wonderful guide! She had great historic and personal knowledge of Lucerne. We decided to book a tour so we could get an overview of the history and some major sights in Lucerne. In 90 minutes we had great information to help guide our exploring for the remaining two days in our stay. Highly recommend this tour!

A few good details, but too short to get a good overview of the town. - Chapel Bridge is really the only thing that stuck out for me and the story of the fire and reconstruction. I also enjoyed hearing about the structure by the train station.

Lucerne walking tour - Nice overview of some of the key Downtown sites with some background history. Our guide also gave tips on what else to see for the rest of our stay. Only challenge was hearing her sometimes as her voice was a bit soft. But I would recommend the tour to get some history of the city & key sites.

Disappointing and expensive! - Unfortunately, our guided tour of Lucerne was disappointing!
The guide was poorly prepared and could not answer many questions. The tour was unstructured and important sights were missed. The guide seemed disinterested and uncommitted, which made the entire experience uncomfortable. The group was much too big, so it was difficult to follow the guide or understand him well. There was no clear plan or meaningful route, leading to confusion. Overall, the tour was not worth its money and not recommended.
