A must see place for all. - I have wanted to visit Lucca for a couple of years and it did not disappoint. We actually parked outside the walls and walked it. A visit to the Tourist centre is a must as there you can get a map of the city and buy tickets for some of the buildings. A visit to the Guinigi Tower is a must. The view is breathtaking and it was great to have shade from the sun. It can get quite busy and we booked for a 11-11.30 am ascent. We enjoyed walking through the city, visiting the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro and the Chiesa di San Michele in Foro. You will need to pay attention to the street signs as you can easily lose your sense of direction, but the inhabitants are always happy to guide you in the right direction. We also took a walk on the city walls and you can hire bikes to travel around the city walls. I saw groups of 3 and 4 travelling together on the same canopied bicycle made for 4. I would definitely go again to see the places that I missed first time around.

We certainly wouldn't have been able to get such a clear picture of the city without an expert guide - We are a group of friends who have chosen to be guided by an expert on a walking tour of Lucca. Silvia's expertise allowed us to adequately appreciate the history and small curiosities that the city jealously encloses within its walls. Thank you. Advised

Superb guide. - Superb!! So informative and interesting. We were lucky enough to have the guide all to ourselves, she was absolutely brilliant and very knowledgeable despite not being a native Lucchese. Would highly recommend.

Lovely Lucca! - Diletta was delightful! Excellent tour guide. SO much information in a short period of time. Not only did she give Lucca history, she gave shopping and restaurant recommendations for after. Really great value for the price. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Walk in Lucca - Nice walk in the city. Maria explains very well the history and the architecture of the city, underlying the role and the importance of local communities. Maybe the tour requires more than 2 hours to avoid rushes and give more times to pictures and questions. We appreciated especially the tour inside the cathedral.
