Great private tour of Lucca and Pisa - This was a great tour. Raphael was a great tour guide. He drove us around Lucca and Pisa. He was knowledgeable about Lucca seeing that he is from there. After spending time in Lucca, we went to the winery. The winery was nice and family owned. The food was okay. You don’t get a full meal. You only get anti-pasta (bread, cheese and meat) and a dessert. Please don’t expect to be fully fed. It was nice hearing about the winery and its growth over the generations. We were given 3 wines to taste and if you wanted extra pours you had to pay €3-4. I enjoyed the white wine and decided to buy a bottle for €12. Lastly, we went to Piss. Just note that if you want to spend more time at Pisa you should alert Raphael for we only had 30 minutes once we were done at the winery to enjoy Pisa. Overall, a great private tour.

Best travel day in my life! - Over the course of my life, I've had the good fortune to travel to many beautiful and unique places, but our trip to Lucca, and Pisa was the first time I've used a personal tour guide.Out of all of my vacations and travels, the day with Raphael and Autoservizi DBTuscany is the single best day I've had. The thoughtfulness, pride, joy and love Raphael has for Lucca and it's surrounding areas is palpable. The time and care he took with our group was the same, we were not simply customers, we were family. I'd never heard of Lucca prior to our day trip and I had no expectations, I figured we'd stop, look at some churches, go to a winery and then Pisa is where we'd spend our time... Now I've searched real estate every day in Lucca since I've been home, have reached out to the local football club and have already ordered wine from Fratelli Urbani winery. Living in and around the Chicago area my entire life, I've been been more than spoiled with exposure to world class food, sports (though not of late), art, museums, architecture, etc... so maybe I've become a bit jaded, but our day with ADBT was a reality check of all the simplicity and beauty that still exists in the world.; stunning really. I am sure that I would have enjoyed my day with whomever was leading the tour, but Raphael was exceptional.When/if he ever visits the States, I'd love for my family to meet him, and take him around, show. If I were to do a fraction of the job he did, taking care of my family, our time would be successful. Lucca is everything you'd dream a small, quintessential Italian town would be, Fratelli Urbani winery was the third best meal I've ever had (my mom was from the "back of the yards" southside Polish and knew how to cook), and our time in Pisa was everything we expected it to be. There are no regrets with this trip. We can't wait to go back. It's also entirely possible that Lucchese drinking water is better than Chicago!

Great tour for any group! - Couldn’t recommend this tour any more highly! The tour of Lucca was fascinating and the trip to the winery was just perfect, and we still got to Pisa to see the leaning tower. Also the guides were wonderful!

Fantastic Day in Lucca and Pisa - Our family group of 10, including 2 young children, was an absolute delight! Transportation was provided from the port, and our guides, Tommaso and Rafael, were locals and so were very knowledgeable, as well as fun and personable. The visit to the winery was just the relaxing time we needed! Then, of course, a visit to Pisa to see the tower. We highly recommend this tour!

Perfect day winery tour with Lucca/ Pusa - Most awesome experience! Marco was wonderful and gave us a great tour of Lucca, Pisa and a small family winery. We thoroughly enjoyed our day. The winery was the highlight with beautiful views of the mountains along with a lovely charcuterie board of appetizers to go with our wine. Marco was very flexible with our plans and allowed us to spend as much time in one place as we wanted. He picked us up at the port and delivered us back perfectly on time. I would highly recommend this tour
