Tony was a wonderful guide. He had worked at the elephant camp before he started guiding. - Tony had also spent ten years as a Buddhist Monk so he gave us insight into his life in a monastery. He was very enthusiastic about everything in Laos and Thailand.

A sanctuary dedicated to the rehabilitation of elephants rescued from abusive situations - This trip not only allowed us to appreciate the beauty of nature, but also made us understand the significance of sustainable tourism. Every tourist's participation can contribute to the protection of elephants and help them return to nature. The experience of Luang Prabang will always be engraved in my heart and become my firm belief in supporting ecological protection.

Respect and protect the true meaning of wildlife - This experience deeply feels the true meaning of protecting wildlife. Through feeding, observation and gentle interaction, we establish a friendship with elephants instead of a traditional dominant relationship. Elephants roam freely here. This is not only a trip, but also a deep understanding of contact with nature. This model encourages tourists to contact wild animals in a close way and educates us to travel more sustainably. Here, every step makes people experience harmonious coexistence and ecological protection, rather than a single entertainment consumption.

Understanding of Laotian self-heating culture - Through this activity, I really felt the old traditional emotional bond between the locals and the elephants. They are still trying to figure out how to keep this harmonious coexistence going in the fast-paced modern life. This is not only a close contact with the elephants, but also like walking into a living book of Laotian culture, which allows me to see the unique culture of Laos and their respect for nature.

Close encounters with elephants - Choosing to be an elephant keeper for a day supports an ethical way of travel that does not involve riding elephants, but rather promoting the well-being of elephants by caring for them. This practice respects the natural habits of the animals and demonstrates a commitment to wildlife conservation. It is an exemplary animal-friendly travel for us conservation travelers.

A close encounter with elephants - No Tours/No crowds. No elephant rides/No elephant shows/no chains. It's a relaxing interaction with elephants. You get a basket of bananas at the door. If you get all the baskets, you're not gonna get them. Fall in love with elephants after getting up close. Really smart and spiritual. It's big and beautiful. I won't be bored here all afternoon.

Close encounters with elephants - During the feeding process,Oliver always emphasized safety first. He introduced us in detail how to approach the elephants correctly and ensure that our behavior would not cause stress or discomfort to them. He also pointed out that elephants are very sensitive animals and we need to interact with them in a respectful and patient way. He guided us to feed the elephants some protein-rich food. At the same time, He also reminded us to pay attention to the behavioral signals of the elephants so that we can adjust the feeding method in time. In addition, Oliver also introduced us to the importance of daily care and health monitoring of elephants. He mentioned that the health of elephants depends not only on a reasonable diet, but also on regular medical examinations and proper exercise. He and he team will regularly perform health checks on the elephants to ensure that they are not infected with diseases or suffering from other health problems. This close contact with the elephants was not only an unforgettable experience, but also gave us a deeper understanding of these gentle elephants!

A very special Elephant Day! - This was the most amazing day, which we will never forget! We started with an early morning visit to the beautiful Kuang falls ahead of all the crowds. So fabulous to view the falls and take a solo swim! Stunning start to the day. The Elephant village is a truely ethical conservation project and the Elephants are well looked after and spend time free in the forest living a natural life after being rescued from hard work & tourism abuse. The village is in a beautiful setting and very peaceful and quiet. Tony our guide was excellent, he was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic to teach us about the care and history of the elephants. He spoke very good English and it was a pleasure to spend the day with him. We spent time feeding the elephants bananas, including a fairly newly arrived baby Elephant. We followed them to the river where, for an extra fee (very well worth it!) we joined the keepers in washing them. Such an amazing experience including being sprayed by the elephant! We were very excited to spend time with the elephants and were not disappointed at all. It's a truly magical day with no hard sell or wasted time. We loved every minute and can't stop smiling! Couldn't have been any better, we're sure this will be the highlight of our trip!

Respect the nature of the travel experience - The elephants we see live in a natural, free environment. They are free to roam the vast forest and live at their own pace. No coercion, no abuse, just love and care. This respect and protection of animals fills me with respect for this place. The whole environment of the reserve is also very beautiful. We can follow elephants into the forest and observe how they behave in their natural environment. The elephants roam freely in the forest in search of food, occasionally stopping to spray water with their trunks. This natural state is very comforting to me because I know they are in the best possible hands here. The sanctuary explicitly prohibits visitors from riding elephants or performing, and their dedication to rescuing and rehabilitating abused elephants is highly recommended for a more respectful and sustainable tourism experience.

a great experience - Anderson takes us on a tour of the elephant's habitat, detailing the story of each elephant. Some have been abused in the tourism industry and are now being reborn here. We learned that the sanctuary not only provides a safe environment, but also works to educate visitors and raise awareness about wildlife conservation. We participated in the feeding activities, hand-handed the elephants fresh fruit, watching them gently with their long trunks, hearts filled with happiness. We also learned how to build a trusting relationship with elephants, and the guide told us that respect and understanding are key to communicating with these intelligent creatures. We all leave with a quiet determination to support sustainable tourism and wildlife conservation, and look forward to seeing more people participate in this great cause in the future.
