It's a good return to the... - It is a good drive back to the city with a very friendly and curious guide. Recommended! Although I wish it was a walking part since you don't get out of the car almost.

Great tour - excellent guide - Excellent service. Tour met us at the ship pier. Very good tour. Our guide, Joao, was knowledgeable and informative with excellent English, we went to interesting places, the bus was clean and they gave us each a beautiful bag with drinks and treats. Tour was so superior to ship's tours. Would highly recommend this tour in Luanda.

Less emphasis on the city, which was fine. - Danny, the guide made the experience.
We saw what we needed, not so much of the conditions of the poorer citizens
Plenty of colour, a touch of history, and the opportunity to buy some souvenirs

Informative day with a local seeing what the city has to offer. - The ship provided a shuttle to the port entrance (mandatory) and it was a short walk through some craft stalls in a square to a lot where third party tours load their guests. Per the email received the day before we found Luzaya bus #2 and boarded. Once all were accounted for we drove to the farthest site first which I thought was a good idea. We saw the ‘view of the moon’ then the long journey back towards town. The road was hilly with some curves so if you get caught behind a slow moving truck, passing opportunities are few. Next was the coastal Museum of Slavery which was unfortunately inundated with tourists as we arrived; bad luck as the place is small.
The remainder of sights followed and our guide Desidrio answered any questions we could think of as well as sharing some general information in very good English. A lovely cloth bag was given to all with water, crisps and other snacks.
Maybe because of traffic our tour was 7 hours instead of 5-6 hours but we were back in plenty of time to catch the shuttle back to the ship. An excellent guide and time in Luanda!

Good tour of capital city - Launda City Tour with Luzaya tours was very good. We went to a scenic overlook about 45min out of town and then worked our way back into the city, visiting all the major sites. We did this as a cruise boat shore excursion. Everything was great. Our guide Musa had good English and was knowledgeable.Â

Group city tour of Luanda - Excellent tour. Musa was an amazing guide. Helpful. He even phoned a local friend of ours so we could meet just before the tour. A bit long and hot.

Needs improvement - This tour experience was not very pleasant. The driver and tour guide arrived more than one hour late to the the designated pick up site. We were continuously told that the car would be there in 10 mins which was a complete lie. Our tour guide, Rodrigues had a nice personality but was inexperience and spoke minimal English. He was not equipped with any historical data about Angola to share with the group. We met other tour guides during a museum visit, we received most of our information from those other tour guides. This tour was like a taxi ride from one site to the next with no basic information provided.
