You will have your first complementary drink and smoke your cigar with a moment to meet all the guest joining this beach side bar crawl. Pinones is known as the fried food capital of the world, nearly every restaurant and bar boasts a window display of classic puerto rican fritters (alcapurias, bacalaito, pastelilos, empanadas and many other traditional foods like mofongo and fresh seafood. This 420 friendly, pub crawl packs in over 6-10 bars in a 1 mile beach side walk. We will stop at some bars for a quick refill, and some bar/restaurants for a bite to eat or to enjoy the live music. There are some bars that double as convenience stores and some fully stocked gift shops for souvenirs. Depending on the day we will encounter live Bomba, Salsa, DJ or karaoke. This is a walking tour of at least 6 bars and up to 10 depending on the pace of the group.

Tired of feeling like you’re missing out on the real Puerto Rico because you have been stuck in San Juan? Do you want to experience the real Puerto Rico in a safe and fun environment? The Pinones pub crawl is the only official bar crawl in Pinones. Pinones is considered to be the capital of culture, tradition, and essence in Puerto Rico. Experience the rich afro-latino history first hand like a local through food, live music and drinks. All guests will be picked up from their hotels or Airbnb. The first drinks are complimentary at the childhood property of Hall of Fame baseball player Roberto Clemente. This tour is 420 friendly. The total walk between all 6-10 bars is approximately 1 mile, 90% being along the oceanside boardwalk so wear comfortable shoes. At the end of the tour enjoy a complimentary shot before being picked up by our chauffeur for transport back to your hotels. All bars will have discounted rates or bar-crawl specials on food and drinks.

Book, Book, Book!! - Listen!! This is not just a bar crawl but also a food tour made just for US! Jay made us feel right at home. This is in the REAL streets of PR so if you bougie don’t do it. 4-2-0 friendly drinks drinks drinks Vibes & Energy was everything Wish we booked this for a few times this trip. It we will be back

Helpful Hosts! - They had to cancel our tour because they changed to host this on Sundays. The guide was kind enough to forward me an itinerary for the bar crawl so we could plan to do it ourselves! When traveling crazy changes end up happening but I’m thankful they were willing to help us out with this for our trip. They were also very responsive and kind in their correspondence.

We wish we could’ve had her as our personal guide on our last 3 days. - I’d have to say that Wendy’s energy and deep knowledge of of the area made it all the more enjoyable. She made sure that we had the opportunity to experience the deep cultural that is Pińones.

5 star experience - This pub crawl was amazing. Wendy and Jay are AMATEUR. We started off with drinks provided and there was a great variety of options. I know most people drink on bar crawls but we turned it into a food experience. The local food was great and the entertainment was just as good. We even learned a little history. This experience was a 5 out of 5.

Amazing - The couple that gave us the tour were amazing! We started off at reberto clamentes house. They had drinks for pre game…anything you could think of they had. We took a short walk along the ocean and it brought us straight to the night life. If you’re looking to get away from the tourism this is the place to go! The locals were very friendly and the tour guides made sure everything was okay! Great experience!

Incredible night our! - Wendy and Jay were excellent tour guides, welcoming us into their home for a drink and some bug spray, and then leading us along the boardwalk for some great photos and then through the small beach town of Pinones for a real local experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for an authentic Puerto Rican night out with music, drinks, and dancing! The price includes some welcome cocktails and the pick up/drop off and then the walk through the bars. We paid for our own drinks (very inexpensive prices) at each bar and it all felt very much worth it. Wendy and Jay are so friendly and had great recommendations for us for the rest of our trip. We definitely want to be back to see them again!

Loved the Pinones pub crawl! - We loved the pub crawl, walking along the beautiful path, the drums, bomba, moonlit walk along the beach, the culture and beauty of pinones! Oh and waaay too much to drink but so much fun!

Good until it wasn’t - First and foremost I’ll like to say that in the beginning it seemed promising, the host were attentive, had complementary drinks & were 420 friendly. Now to the real knits & grits of it all, they should advice their guests to wear appropriate shoes or at least comfortable shoes designed to walk in wet, muddy, puddles filled in water through the trail paths they were making us walk to. At the time we went (which was their 6:00PM time slot) it was super dark & no headlights or flashlights were provided. Again, it seemed a bit unorganized & not a very planned out excursion. We was “bar hopping” but it felt more like, we were just passing time instead. One weird situation which the whole group spoke about, was the strange visit to a random pool in someone’s house… yeah very weird. lol Overall, I felt like I did have fun but only because I was with my friends trying to enjoy our time & giving it a chance. I’ll give this excursion a 4/10.

Do NOT book this tour! - Where do I even begin. First of all, the year is halfway over and if you check the reviews there are no reviews from 2025. That probably was the first red flag. If you want to go to an actual bar crawl, book the old san juan bar crawl. It is an actual bar crawl that is professionally done.
We started this tour off with 8 guests. By 9 pm they had only 2 guests left. That should tell you enough. This was not a bar crawl. You will pay this host to drive you to the Loiza area and waste your time, just being honest. First, the booking is supposed to start at 1700. Not only did it not start as stated, the host sent us several locations to get us to meet at 1740, and we still had to walk an additional 5-6 minutes because he told us the wrong area. Next, by 8:20 pm we had only had 1 drink at 1 bar. If you have ever actually gone to a bar crawl, you know the bars have agreed to participate & the hosts have relationships with those bars. They know when youre coming and its a very organized & great experience. This was just someone taking us to random places to pass the time by. There was no 6-8 bars and I dont think there was ever going to be. At one point he told us the area was "safe" so we could "walk all up and down the boardwalk" how is that a bar crawl... you can literally pay less than $10 for an uber and just get dropped off and walk around on your own. I think he thought he could just get peoplw high enough and no one would realize he just hustled all of us. I requested a refund and I will be escalating this if I dont get my money back. I dont care if it would have been only $5, you dont take advantage of people who genuinely travel to your island to experience your culture. This host is a hustler. DO NOT BOOK THIS! Again, we also did the Old San Juan bar crawl and it was so professional and an actual bar crawl. I highly encourage you to book that one!
