The guide was very... - The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The staff at Oak Alley answered all of my questions and educated my group about life on the plantation. My large airboat swamp tour was incredibly fun. We saw many alligators. I also learned that alligators like marshmallows and have an excellent memory. I felt safe the whole time and had an excellent day. It was definitely worth the money and I will take the tour again if I'm ever back.

Worth the drive - The drive from New Orleans is a bit long, but so worth it. The plantation was so pretty, and our guide was a wealth of knowledge. Our favorite was the swamp tour . We were able to see so many alligators, and an owl. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Oak Alley - okay, Airboat Tour Yay! - The property is beautiful, the mansion tour was very short and included the dining room, sitting area and a couple of bedrooms. The best part was the balcony views, and our guide was great. We only had a couple of hours to do the tour and look around and grab something to eat. It would be great if you were visiting multiple plantations, but it was over an hour drive for a short tour. The airboat tour was amazing! Saw lots of alligators. Captain Tray was great! Was my second airboat tour and still would highly suggest it for anyone who hasn't done it before. Lots off fun flying over the water and enjoying the bayou sites!

Great tour stops - lots of driving time - This was a great experience. There is a lot of driving - a little over an hour to each place. The buses were a little older so no charging ports and the air was either on or off But the tours themselves were great! If you plan to eat at the restaurant at the plantation, the 2 hours they give you there is not enough time to see anything. The airboat part was so fun! Guide was great and we got to see a bunch of alligators!

Drive out there as long... - Drive out there as long road is very bumpy Be prepared to wait before they pick you up cause they’re picking up many guests and coordinating the pick ups so you will sit either at your hotel or on their bus waiting for another shuttle to come and bring more passengers that was the only drawback Oakley itself is absolutely gorgeous grounds

Swamp tour was really fun! - Our family of 4, enjoyed this tour. We particularly loved the airboat swamp tour and enjoyed the plantation tour as well. It was a longer drive than we wanted, which made for a full day. We were picked up from our hotel at 8:15 and didn’t return until 5:15. We got lunch at the sandwich shop at the plantation and enjoyed mint juleps!

Great Tour - Very good and informative tour of the plantation. We wished we would of had at least one more hour there as there is alot to see. The air boat ride was great! It's definitely worth paying the extra for the air boat since you get closer to the alligators. Our tour guide was great and answered all our questions.

Tour content: A++. TripAdvisor: F— - My low low rating is not for the tour itself. The mansion is lovely, and the swamp tour is excellent. My rating is for Viator itself. The pick up point address was in an alley, the employee entrance for a hotel. The street address was in front of a very, very busy loading dock, completely unsafe. There is no reason this location should ever be used for any kind of pick up whatsoever. One block away is a major hotel, with plenty of room to pick up in front. Also, we were not even asked what hotel we were staying at. It is worth noting that every other pick up was directly in front of the participants hotels. Our driver on the return trip easily dropped us directly at our hotel. If you are booking this trip, be aware that if you are told you will be picked up on Iberville Street, you will be in front of a loading dock on a narrow narrow street with no safe place to stand. Completely unacceptable.
