A long day but well worth it. - This trip gave us a great view of the volcanic scenery around Mt Teide. It also opened our eyes to the differences between the newer holiday areas of the South Coast and the historical, more fertile area of the North. The guide (Richard?) was knowledgeable and very skilled in languages, speaking to us in Spanish, English and Russian (for two Ukrainian tourists). The itinerary was tightly controlled but allowed sufficient time to stop and explore the sights - giving a good taster and much historical background. The coach driver did a fantastic job of navigating the tiny hairy mountain road to and from Masca which was a highlight.

Well organized excursion - We have the 1. Booked through Tripadvisor and were quite satisfied. It was called max. 34 people, in the end it was 40-45 people with the languages English, Italian and German. The guides explained everything in detail in the 3 languages. We have seen a lot that we certainly would not have found with the car. Car parking is also hard to find. It's better in the coach.

Great trip to main highlights of the island - Was fun, mostly everything was on time. Smooth pick up, friendly guide and driver.
Some other customers weren't respecting meeting times ( when we were given free time to return to the bus ) which caused a delay in drop off. However, this wasn't guides fault.
A bit disappointed with the lunch place which the guide recommended in Garachico, it wasn't too much and seemed overpriced and not-so-local as promised.
It rained while in Masca, but that's also outside of the guides control of course :)
Overall, great , informative, effective. would recommend!

The great beauty of Nature! - Day in full contact with nature! From Teide, reached by a very scenic road, to Masca, where we arrived among breathtaking views!
And again the tree of the millenary dragon and Garachico.
Prepared guide, but too little time in Masca and Teide

Couple of things to be aware of: sat on bus a lot, sheer drops - Pick up was fine.
Guide was good and the driver proved to be fantastic, and earned his tip from us later in the journey.
First stop was 30 minutes at a gift shop, with a toilet break.
Next was 30 minutes at the Mount Teide visitor centre. Toilets were 1 Euro.
Next was Icod, the roads were starting to get very twisty down the mountain. Again, 30 minutes stop with a short walk past the Dragon Tree.
Then across to Garachico for a 60 minute lunch break. Would advise taking your own lunch. Saves time and money.
Final stop was Masca. The views are awesome and the steepness of the mountain roads in and out of the village, with endless hairpin bends, were where the driver really earned his money. It must be a tiring day’s work driving on this excursion.
Interesting trip overall but be aware that most of the day is spent on the bus. It was an eight hour day with a total of about two and a half hours not sat on the bus.
Also, if driving on roads that have sheer drops makes you uncomfortable, maybe give this some thought before booking this excursion.

Short breaks and various views: A good way to get an idea of the places - Tour of about 8 hours. Despite the duration, time passed quickly. The tour is designed to visit different places in a short time, so if you are looking for an experience that allows you to explore each stop calmly, this may not be the tour for you.
Personally, I find it ideal for those who do not have their own car but still want to see many things in a single day. It can also be useful to get a general idea and then, eventually, return more calmly to the most popular places.
Approximately, you will have about 30 minutes for each stage, with a single stop of one hour. During this break, you can have lunch at an affiliated restaurant with a set price menu. I preferred to use that time to explore on my own, so if you want to save some money and have more time for yourself, I recommend you bring something to eat.
The guide spoke both English and Italian, repeating exactly the same information in both languages. The only thing that might be a bit boring is the fact that 10-15 minutes can pass before switching languages, which can be uninvolving for those who do not understand one of the two languages.
The information provided during the trip was quite interesting, although sometimes a bit generic and often already known. Overall, however, it was a positive experience.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, THIS TOUR OPERATOR JUST TAKES YOUR MONEY AND CHANGES THE EXCURSION. THEY KNOW YOU'RE ON HOLIDAY AND WON'T BE BACK/USE THEM AGAIN.
I am a tour guide and this was the worst tour o have ever been on. Absolutely terrible tour. Disorganised chaos. Picked up 40 mins late, initially told it was due to traffic. However it was because the driver went looking for missing clients. Then told that because of bad weather we couldn't go to the last stop. After having been lied to once already, we checked the weather forecast and the weather at the destination was fine.
A half hour stop at a tourist trap stop was given priority over reaching the last stop. Could have made uo most of the delay by avoiding this stop.
At Tiede we asked if we should eat and tge guide (Chantel) said no food would be better at the next stop. Then at Icod she said we had half an hour to see the tree. We pointed out this was not enough time to eat, she then said 'I told you it would be the next stop.' Another lie. Didn't get to eat until 4pm. Ridiculous.
I have written to La Excursion and they haven't even bothered to reply.

Not recommended!!! - We cannot recommend this trip. Our tour guide Chántale was late at first, and it was supposed to be her boss' fault.
We then took the bus to numerous stops, so that in the end we had less time at the individual destinations. One target was not approached at all, as according to their
“Boss” is too dangerous.
The first target was a souvenir shop, a pure sales chicanery.
The stop at the dragon tree was downplayed by Chántale, as she said that if we took a picture quickly, we could go on quickly. It seemed to us that she was personally under time pressure.
At the last stop she told us who is late has to go back by taxi.
The crowning glory, however, was that she, as a tour guide, did not accompany the guests until the end of the event, but was one of the first to leave the bus on the return journey. I think it's a no-go that she doesn't accompany the guests to the last stop. Her excuse was that she doesn't have a car (the buses only leave here on the island once a day !!! Sarcasm) Chántale seemed very unprofessional, agile and unfriendly throughout the day.
The highlight of the whole day was staying in Garachico!
We cannot recommend this trip.

Not worth it! - We spent 7 hours inside the bus and only 2 hours outside: 30 min in a tourist shop (waste of time), 30 min at the Teide viewpoint, 5 min at the side of the road to take pictures of the Dragon tree 200 m away, 45 min in Garachico and 15 min i Masca. We really wanted to spend more time in Masca! Also the guide repeated everything in three languages, so it was never silence in the bus. The trip lasted one hour longer than normal because of bus problems
