Great day out - The north of the island was delightful and we learnt a lot from the tour guide about the island. It was well worth the trip, even if it was a bit of a long day. Hats off to the driver who handled the mountain road like the pro he is!

Great - The trip was great, we have seen everything that was planned. It was in a short time, but at the end we have seen many sights during 8 hours trip. Our guide Chantal was professional speaking 4 languages - the sightseeing was ins english and german at the same time. She made the trip funnier and gave us many information about the sights during the trip. Also I have to mention the driving skills of the bus driver, which were admirable - especially in the narrow roads from Masca.

Amazing views and heart stopping adventures - The mountain drive and views of Mt tide scary and amazing. Great guide and great driver. Second time but still see things you missed. The local wildlife is amazing keep your eyes peeled.

A Bus tour of two halves -Positive and negative experiences- Overall Good - It was our first time on Tenerife and the opportunity to visit Mount Teide in particular was too good to miss. Pick-up near our hotel was fine and the coach very good with an excellent guide and a brilliant driver(more of that later!) First stop was short 30 minutes at a gift shop/café as we started climbing off the coastal area. Served a purpose as a toilet stop as well. We then started moving higher on narrow roads first of all through mist and rain with all sorts of exotic cactus/plants growing from the lava - really weird but fascinating. First thoughts were we are not going to see much of the mountain but were we surprised, All of a sudden we broke out into the surreal world above the clouds. Blue skies(no clouds) and a landscape like a lunar surface with jagged rocks/cliffs Truly spectacular with Mount Teide in the distance showing a true volcanic dominance. It was a short stop at the viewing point for just 30 minutes and given the magnificence of the view you could have done with a longer stay. Returning through the National Park we then set-off towards the far west of the Island to visit the towns ,The roads all full of ultra tight hair pin bends with our driver in a class of his own - never seen such driving skills many times having to reverse the coach on the actual bends as the turning angle was so tight! Bet the brakes are checked daily! The first town was Icod with a short walk through to the centre but to be honest not that memorable. The next stop was Garachica down by the coast for a longer 1 hour 30 min lunch stop. To be honest this was very disappointing virtually just a few places to either eat or have a drink and a waste of time when longer stops could have been made up at Mount Teide. My recommendation is that you take your own Food/drinks via your hotel - more practical. The final stop was the a truly great experience at the mountain village of Masca. The drive up to and beyond was amazing. The number of hair pin bends and sheer steepness of the mountains took your breath away .How a village can exist on the side of a mountain is beyond belief . It is no wonder that the professional cycling teams come here to train at Altitude what an experience.

AVERAGE - Overall, the excursion was not bad. Small downside, the sound of the microphone is very loud, very disturbing to concentrate. I advise you to take something to eat with you to eat in town on your own, it's either that or you find yourself eating in the worst restaurant, if you can call it a restaurant. Only an hour to eat nothing because the food was so bad , I can't imagine how we could bring a group to such a place. The excursions are super quick, you only stay 30 minutes at Teide and 30 minutes at Masca, and a long explanation at Icode de los Vinos, otherwise it's just a bus. The guide was very kind and professional, the bus driver drove well especially considering the steep roads, you can be safe!

Miss sold trip - Got pick from bus stop near hotel the trip was disappointing half hour stop at gift shop, half hour stop at mount tedi, half our stop at the old bussell tree as they called it one hour stop at the lava pool, the best was going down in to the riven at Masca when we book the trip we were told that you had two hour stops at all stops, so apart from being miss sold the trip it was not worth the 138 euros we paid for it, so if you’ve got sort of money to east by all means do the trip.

Disappointed - Returned from a full day tour of Teide, Icod and Masca. We felt the tour was very rushed and no time to spend in each place. Approx 30minutes each place we visited although it stated when I booked it would be an hour each place. I would have liked the guide to have been a wee bit more informative as hardly any information was given as to the history of each place. In fact had it not been for my husband pointing out and asking me if a particular tree was the Dragon tree then I wouldn’t have seen it. I’m sure it was the Dragon tree but who knows. Same with Mount Teide, I still don’t know where the volcano is as it is all volcanic rock and mountains so unless it has a sign post to tell me then I haven’t a clue. I know I was standing in the caldera but where’s the volcano? Don’t get me wrong I’m glad I went it only meant I had to as google quite a few questions when I returned home. To sum up the day I’d say know what you want to see in each place you visit and good luck if you have the time to do it

Excursion - All places we have visited were beautiful. Great nature, national park and cities, but our guide wasn’t explaining properly in english what was happening there. He was talking so quietly I couldn’t understand any of his words.

Tiede and Island Tour - Trip to Mt Teide and mountain view. The other locations not so interesting, would have preferred more time at Masca.

Not advising to pick this tour - If you are not willing to see anything and do a lot of hours in bus with a guide explaining same things 4 times in each of the language book here 10 to 50 minutes stop each places to take pictures of a tree or a lava pool or mont Teide WITHOUT any real walk around the places and the only information you ll get are the one in the bus. It s not for people willing to get a real grasp of the place… very much deceived about it
