- Santa Cruz de la Palma - The first stop is in the capital, where you’ll have around 30 minutes of free time to explore some of the most iconic sites such as:
The Ship of the Virgin, a replica of the Santa María, the ship Christopher Columbus used to discover America. It was built to honor the sailors from La Palma who set sail on boats made from local wood. Inside, there’s a naval museum featuring charts and models of some of these ships.
The Castle of Santa Catalina, once one of Spain’s most significant fortresses on the route to the Americas.
The typical Balconies, some of the best-preserved balconies in the Canary Islands, including double balconies designed to ventilate homes.
- Mirador de la Concepcion - We’ll stop to view this protected landscape and see the capital from the crater of the La Caldereta volcano.
- Tacande de Arriba - The next stop is in the exclusion zone of the Tacande neighborhood, where you’ll get a first look at the volcano before heading to Tazacorte to see Spain’s newest lava flows.
- Playa Tazacorte - We’ll arrive in Tazacorte to enjoy a typical meal near the beach.
- Tajuya - We’ll pause at the Tajuya viewpoint to observe the Cumbre Vieja volcano, which erupted on September 19, 2021, destroying over 1,000 homes. This spot has been used by the global press to document the latest eruption in the Canary Islands.
- Santa Cruz de la Palma - The ferry departs from Santa Cruz de La Palma back to Los Cristianos (Tenerife) at 5:00 p.m.

Honeymoon Volcano Tour! - An incredible day! This was one of the tours we did on our Honeymoon and everything was just right. We even met some new friends along the way.

Surprise excursion! - Fairly comfortable ferry ride, another planet's island, SPECTACULAR!
Highlight Rosi the Guide, how he transmits his passion for the island even having to count it 3 times a week! My tens!

Thought Provoking and Informative - The tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly and the route was great. We saw the destruction caused by ash from the volcanic eruption in 2021.

Interesting tour to the newly (in 2021) born vulcano - We have already visited La Gomera, and we were very pleased to see an opportunity to visit another island, La Palma.
The tour was very versatile.
- We had time walking around in the capital, Santa Cruz de la Palma.
- We stopped at several viewing points for the capital and the new vulcano.
- We quickly visited a little Chapel and its resident cat.
- We went to the closest point which is possible to observe Cumbre Vieja Volcano that was born in 19th September 2021. It is breathtaking to see this new volcano and the strength of the nature. It is staggering to see the poking out roof tops from the lava flow......
- We had a delicious lunch at Tazacorte beach.
Our guide Rossi, was a local lady and her love of the island came through every sentences. She planned perfectly the timing, so we didn't need to rush, and still could see everything.
Our bus driver was very knowledgeable, calm man.
We highly recommend to visit La Palma or even spend couple of nights there. (Good ferry connection by Fred Olsen Express from Los Cristianos.

Authentic experience tour - Highly recommended! The two guides were able to create awesome and authentic experience, with all the general info and also their personal stories related to the eruption (including photos, videos). We could see the real impact on life and nature after the eruption as guides explained everything very well. Before the end of the tour we had very delicious, generous traditional Canarian cusine lunch, they definitely know how to treat their customers <3 Salad, grilled cheese, Canarian potatoes, fish and dessert + wine. Before we booked the tour we were a bit concerned if its worth the money, but in the end it was worth every cent spent! I would go again if I had the opportunity.

Impressive tour of La Palma - Our friendly and very competent tour guide Rosi was great. She made this day a special experience. We learned a lot about the island and its natural forces. After a stop in the island's capital, we went to the new volcano that was created during the big eruption in 2021. An unforgettable highlight.

The team is organized and punctual, making sure to show you everything on the itinerary and get you back to the ship on time ⏰🚢 Impressively, the tour guide (Rossi) spoke perfect Spanish, English, and German🇪🇸 🇬🇧 🇩🇪 As for the island, I hope you like the color green🌲🌱 The tour takes you to stunning high points where you literally see the entire coast of the island! It’s called the beautiful island for a reason 😍 my favorite part was my free time on the pure black sand beach after lunch🏝⚫️ 10/10 I recommend; it is definitely worth the price!

Exploratory volcano tour - Beautiful excursion with expert explanations from guide Rosi in 4 languages, giving us a view of the green island. In a luxury coach with driver Franci we visited the affected area of the volcanic eruption, which gives us an idea of that devastating force of nature.
The time in Santa Cruz de Palma could have been a little longer.

Well worth trip to see Vulcano!!! 🥰 - First of all I've got a fright when at the ferry terminal couldn't find the guide. Phu,he appiered a wee bit latter and my day was saved.:-)
The ferry was huge with lots of places to pick to sit,offered nice cold and hot refreshments( for extra cost. )
The Las Palmas is an amazing island,beutiful with nature and interesting history. The guide on the bus was well knowledged and answered to all questions! She was born in this island so knew it very well! That was very helpful building up the interest of the history.
Couple viewing stops to take breathtaking pictures,VERY tasty lunch with wine included (charge free) made day fulfilled.
The only thing I think I missed is wee shopping. I know we stopped at some market but I prefer some souvenir shop to bring something to remember the island back home.
I would like to say bid thank you to the driver who brought us back safe to the ferry after such a narrow and wavy roads! It made my heart sink in some places passing!
And of course the best of the best it was Vulcano! Who erupted 2021 and it's still the youngest VULCANO in whole Spain.
Overall the trip was stunning and I will strongly advise to go and visit Las Palmas! You will never get option to be so close to fresh lava flow! Amazing! 😍
