The excursion takes you along the breathtaking cliffs of Guaza Mountain, a natural monument. This mountain rises over 400 meters above sea level, with its stunning vertical cliffs offering a haven and nesting site for numerous bird species. After snorkeling in the pristine waters, the return kayak trip provides a wonderful chance to admire the Tenerife coastline and Teide from the sea, with frequent sightings of playful dolphins. Although sightings of turtles or dolphins are not guaranteed, there is a 90% likelihood of encountering them during the tour. Participants must be able to swim to join the activity. The minimum age requirement is 14 years, and this activity is not suitable for pregnant women.

Fantastic experience - Luna was excellent, very friendly and included everyone dispite ability. had a fantastic trip. A bit disappointed that we couldn't get closer to the dolphins.

Extra strong Marco - You need good waterproof suncream, drinking water and adequate fitness but you may see dolphins and turtles if Marco rings them first.
There's good instructions from the guide throughout. Be careful with loose items, one pair of sunglasses got lost when a couple got back into completely the wrong canoe and upended another single canoe in the process. A strapped down container is provided for your locker key back at base where you can leave your belongings. You can also strap down your flip flops.
If you don't have much upper body strength getting back into the kayak is a challenge. Fortunately Marco our instructor dragged me back in twice but it was undignlfied to say the least!
Overall a worthwhile trip but you must be willing to pay attention for your own safety.
Don't underestimate the challenge, one canoe had to towed back by Marco as the occupants struggled and im pretty sure I will ache tomorrow.
You may be asked to take your canoe back to the meeting point on a little dolly if you are on a later tour so be prepared to pull your weight!

absolutely recommended & thank you to Jack - After two postponements due to the storm, we were finally able to do our kayak tour – and it was absolutely worth it! ☀️
The weather was perfect and the tour was just fantastic. Our guide Jack was super friendly, explained a lot, joked in between and made us feel safe at all times. You immediately notice that he knows what he is doing and is there with a lot of passion.
The absolute highlight: We saw dolphins – an unforgettable moment! 🐬
And again a huge thank you to Jack, who even rescued my phone from 8 m depth from the sea – absolute hero! 🙌🏼 Without him it would probably be part of the Atlantic now 🦀
And best of all: I even had a waterproof case with rope... still wasn’t enough 😬
A little tip for everyone: Take good care of your phones... I had already come to terms with the fact that it now lives in the sea 🙂
Thanks for this great experience – we would do it again anytime! ❤️

Xplore Kayaking and Snorkelling - Absolutely fantastic couple of hours.
Really great guide/instructor Jack.
We are a couple in our late 60s and felt really safe with the whole set up, kit provided and instructions.
We saw Turtles and Dolphins, a great day. Would highly recommend even if you’ve not kayaked before, like us. Sean and Jane

Incredible Experience with Mario and Jessi - This is definitely a MUST do for Tenerife. We had a lovely morning with Mario and Jessi who were accommodating and great at pointing out the Turtles and Dolphins along the way. They were very knowledgeable about the island and the species on it. We were able to see many incredible fish snorkeling as well. They even took us to a cave. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience, I would 10/10 recommend Mario and Jessi.

Nice, slightly strenuous excursion - I read through the recessions before booking this activity and was a little skeptical about the sometimes bad recessions. That's why here's my feedback on the recessions:
You have to sign at the beginning that you are physically able to go through with it and that if you can't, you have to go back. It is also explained that you have to be able to get back in the kayak by yourself.
The guide (Jake) is on the move quickly, but he does not expect to follow him at the same pace. He's always waiting for everyone and you have plenty of time. You don't need to take a camera with you either, as he takes enough photos.
All in all it is about 2-2.5h depending on the speed of the participants.
It was fun and I would recommend it to anyone.
