Guided Day trip to La Gomera - Our guide Yaiza was amazing, she is incredibly knowledgeable and delivers all the information on the tour sights in 4 languages fluently, English, French, Spanish and German. The guided tour takes around 6 hours and takes in all of the important sights of the island. We experienced different micro climates and towering peaks with A backdrop of Tenerife and El Teide making the views even more spectacular. I would highly recommend this guided tour to anyone looking for a great day out.

La Gomera trip - La Gomera was a nice trip as lots of stops and places to visit. We liked the national park and the option of a nice 3 course meal with wine did help the long day with energy.

Superb day out on a beautiful island. - Very well organised and excellent communication. Ferry company changed departure time but new hotel pick up time advised well in advance and all buses connected well. Ferry boarding went without a hitch and we settled outside on the rear deck for a windy voyage. Arrived on the island an hour later and were met by another bus, comfortable and clean. The guide was excellent throughout a busy but again well organised day. The roads on the island can be narrow and twisty but provide some breathtaking views. If you don't like heights this is maybe not the trip for you! The driver was excellent and was obviously well used to driving the route taken. We stopped at a forest centre for coffee, lovely shaded area with a spring-like feel. Then onto a high road, very precipitous with lots of switchbacks, not for the feint hearted. Stopping again at the National Park visitor centre with a very interesting museum. There was also a viewing platform, well worth the steps to the top if you can make it, for some stunning views of El Teide over the water. Lunch was included at a restaurant overlooking a valley with its old farm terraces. It was very pleasant and we watched a demonstration of the local whistling method of communication, again very interesting. Then back on the coach for some more high roading back to San Sebastian where we wandered about the square before getting back on the boat for a lively crossing! Once back in Los Cristianos more busses were on hand to take us back to the hotel. All in all an excellent day out taking in some fantastic sights. I'd say if you're thinking about your first time to the island, go for it. If you can stomach the short crossings on the boat and plenty of swinging about tiny roads on a coach then you will be well rewarded.

Excellent in every way. - Excellent tour. Despite our guide having problems with his voice he did not stint on his commentary in three languages, and gave an excellent insight to the island of La Gomera. Fascinating history and environmental information from a skilled guide. Every part of the day was great - the coach drivers deserve a medal as they negotiate the narrow, winding roads. Lunch was also very good for this type of tour. Would recommend highly.

Beautiful place to visit - Unfortunately it was a little choppy so started off with lots of people sea sick. Trip was relatively well organised, the tour guide was very informative (I think it would be better for trips to be one language though as the constant talking, repeating everything in different languages was hard to follow at times) La Gomera is fabulous, definitely worth a visit, a day tour is a little rushed as you do just get short periods of time to see things, so if you can, stay over! The islands flora and fauna is outstanding, so different from anywhere else in the Canaries. Lunch was a set menu, not the best, soup was ok, lovely bread roll, the fish offered was undescibed white fish covered in sliced peppers. The 'meat' stew was OK, think it was beef, it wasn't particularly hot. Pudding was an egg custard that was overcooked so curdled, pot of vanilla Ice-cream was nice. Red wine and table water provided. The whistling language experience was very different and pretty amazing. We had plenty of photo opportunities and you will get amazing shots. An hour at the end in the capital was nice (gave time to get seasick pills!) Journey back was better. Unfortunately our day ended disappointing, after hotel drop offs was confused, the guide got off first leaving the driver a list. Our drop off for some reason wasn't on his list so we ended up miles from our accommodation and he refused to take us back, so ended up having to get a taxi as my health wasn't up to walking 20 minutes up hill. Not a great end to the day.
