Cabo’s pioneering marine biologist offers a 2.5-hour whale watching tour. Often imitated, never duplicated, this tour provides a personal and intimate experience with small groups. The focus is on educational and non-invasive tours, with complimentary tour photos and a guarantee of whale sightings.
As the tour departs the bay, participants will pass by Pelican Rock, Lovers Beach, and the iconic Arch. The guide and captain will then search for whales. Commonly sighted species include Humpback Whales, Common Dolphins, Bottlenose Dolphins, Olive Ridley Sea Turtles, and Mobula Rays. Occasionally, other wildlife such as Gray Whales, Sperm Whales, Blue Whales, and Killer Whales may also be observed. When conditions allow, the guide will use a hydrophone to listen to the songs of the humpback whales.
From December 15th to April 15th, if no whales are spotted, guests are invited to join another tour free of charge, subject to availability.
