Cabo San Lucas - Chef Issi and his family will welcome you to their restaurant in downtown Cabo San Lucas. From there, they will guide you on a tour of various local spice and grocery markets within the downtown neighborhoods, where you’ll gather the ingredients needed for the day’s recipes. Chef Issi will enlighten you about the food culture, local lifestyle, and history.
After collecting the ingredients, you’ll head to the Chef’s home. Once aprons are on, you’ll begin creating different salsas and recipes from scratch to complete your Mexican feast.
Learn to make a Margarita (Cookin’ Cabo style) and savor it alongside the fruits of your labor.
Experience all of this in a warm Mexican family atmosphere.

Amazing cooking class, great food! - We made mole. It was delicious. The host was fluent in English. He answered so many questions and is a wonderful chef. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience.

Amazing day - Incredibly fun afternoon. Issi, our guide, was top notch. Because it was raining, he brought us to his home for the cooking class. He was very indulgent and patient with our quite rowdy group. Lupita, his assistant, was just as great. Thank you Issi and Lupita for tolerating us and for making this activity one of our highlights of our Cabo trip!

A very fun interactive cooking class with live music and margarita! - We made Beef birria, adobo sauce, salsas, poblano sauce, pico de gallo, tortillas, and guacamole... and they are all delish! It's a very fun activity while staying in Cabo and great for people with all cooking skill level. A live music and margarita add more fun to it. Highly recommended!

Best Activity in Cabo! - This was fun and very interactive! The chef, Carolina was fun and taught us cooking tips that we could take home. We shopped for tortillas and sampled them too! We shopped for the meats and the fresh produce. She instructed us how to prep the food then we learned to make the perfect margarita and had a fantastic meal, made by us!! Great music and a tequila tasting to top it off.

Excellent Experience - This was a great experience. Catrina was knowledgeable and funny. We got to do several recipes. The only suggestion I have is that the tour name should be somewhere near the entrance so you know you’re in the right place.

Amazing and delicious hands-on experience! - Carolina and her crew were AMAZING. It was wonderful to visit the local markets to help shop for the ingredients we needed for make the delicious meal we helped prepare. We about traditional Mexican dishes and preparation: birria, street tacos, pico de gallo, multiple varieties of guacamole, tortillas and margaritas. We helped make them ALL. A live musician kept us moving’, grooving’ and singing along while we cooked and enjoyed the lunch we prepared. After lunch there was a tequila tasting and opportunity to purchase your favorite. Extraordinary value for all we got to do and consume - a great way to experience and support local businesses.

Cooking in Casa - Amazing time away from the tourist activities of Cabo. Enjoyed the local market, history, cooking lesson but most of all the freest experience with other tourists. Carolina was amazing and family is kind and inviting which provided the icing on the cake.
