The Gems of the Norfolk coast. - My friend and I enjoyed a five day break based in Cromer which is considered the " the gem of the Norfolk coast " and it lives up to its name. We went with Alfa coach holidays and it was worth every penny . We adore that part of the Norfolk coast . Cromer is very much like stepping into the past of a beautiful quaint English little township. The unspoilt architecture and the pleasantness of the staff in the little businesses gives one a feeling of much contentment. Not forgetting that this is the home of the famous Cromer crabs - of course we sampled. Scrumptious ! Cromer is situated on a corner of the coastline so the view is expansive and glorious. Next we visited Sheringham about fifteen minutes away by bus . Another Gem in the Norfolk Crown. A small fishing village / Hamlet at one time which is packed with charm . There are many craft shops in both townships which are worth visiting and the addition of fishing boats parked in what is called 'The Loke ' on the sea front is a photographer's haven . Every 'Chippy' in both towns is the best . There is so, so much more and many places along that stretch of the coast that offer the beauty and quality that this country has to offer . For those who are looking for a new retirement home get yourselves to the Norfolk Coast.

Can't Go Wrong with Juan from Rancho Tours - Rancho Tours with Juan to La Paz was amazing and the perfect tour to see more of the Baja. Juan is one of Rancho's more experienced tour guides-having worked for the company for a longtime. He has a wealth of information, history, and facts about the area to share. Lunch was good too. If you want an excellent tour-consider a Rancho Tour or a private Rancho tour with Juan. We are longtime Cabo people and this has been one of the best tours we have been on!

Dio was very well informed and we enjoyed our tour - We had a very informative and fun guide and driver Dio. We learned lots of history and he listened to where we wanted to go. We stopped at a small restaurant for breakfast (not included in the tour but recommended ) where we had wonderful homemade empanadas and bought some delicious cookies. There was water and juice drinks cold for us all day. Dio has also a lot of knowledge about local plants and rocks s well as history. Thank you for the enjoyable day.

Read before taking this long tour ride to LA Paz. - The LA Paz trip took 12 hours from Cabo and back. Very poor bathroom facilities and only 90 minutes of walking and shopping. Lunch was good in LA Paz. The rest of your time is sitting the the van. Very few spots to take pictures. Guide was knowledgeable. Very disappointing.

Many Hours in a Van!!! - Unfortunately I cannot reccomend this tour. It was basically HOURS and HOURS of sitting in a van. It was all about traveling to La Paz - not experiencing La Paz itself. So sad, because it looked like a great town. We stopped at a roadside place on the way and the bathrooms were terrible!! We had to scoop up water into a bucket, haul the bucket to the bathroom (that had 2 stalls, but no doors) to flush the toilets. The van was not roomy and we were pretty crowded (11 people plus the driver/guide) . The road was rough and we banged our knees on the seats in front of us on several occasions. We did not visit any museums in La Paz (mentioned in the description). To be fair, our guide did a good job pointing and describing in English and in Spanish, and we did a quick walk through of the mission, but we were so disappointed not to have any real time in La Paz. We were only given an hour to get out and explore (that began with a stop for a "presentation" at a jewelry store). Our lunch was nothing exciting, but fine - when we finally stopped to eat at 2:30pm. We were picked up at 7:00 am so we were all pretty hungry. We stopped in Todos Santos for 30 minutes on the way back - barely enough time to find and use a bathroom. The tour ended up being 12 hours long (listed on the brochure as approximately 10 hours).
