An Outstanding Experience! - This is a very special place. You may wonder why you are going to an industrial zone, but when you walk beheyond the front gate, you are in another place. The restaurant is large with lots of open spaces and areas. You are outside. The chef walks you through all the prep and the stories behind the food. Great experience

Definitely recommend!! - This is a must do for an interactive Mexican foodie event! Su was a knowledgeable and fun instructor. You are handed a delicious cocktail to take with you on a tour of the gardens and trees. You make a cocktail at the bar that is all set up for you. The restaurant is so beautiful and festive. We chopped and made ceviche and made salsa and tortillas!! So fun! We ate what we made and chef made us another appetizer, a main dish and dessert!!!! Come hungry! (Even if you don’t cook regularly, this is still for you!)

A great time with great food. - This experience was awesome. Su was very knowledgeable and entertaining. This is hands on (except the main dishes and dessert) and she walks you through each step. This is also a Michelin star restaurant.

Fun event in a fun setting. - When we arrived at the event we were given a tasty welcoming cocktail that we brought with us while we toured the grounds of the restaurant. It was very interesting to see the variety of trees and garden plants that were used in the restaurant dishes. Suhad was very informative and fun, especially during the lesson at the bar. She gave instruction while the bar tender modeled the techniques. I followed the bartender which was even more fun for me. I strongly recommend this event for the full evening of entertainment, the instruction, and the food.

Fun time and good food and drink, but a bit slow - Drinks and food are very good. They provide a little tour of the place and teach you how to make a mixed drink in addition to a few food items. We've been there twice now. This time seemed to be a bit slow. I think our host could have used some additional help as it took us 4 hours rather than 3. (Too much waiting for next course.)

Delicious food- but beware drinks not all in - The food and explanations from Su were great. The location was also impressive. Which was unpleasant - if you are asked twice for advice when paying - which I always give separately..

Not a recommended experience - I was really excited about this class but unfortunately left disappointed in the experience. This is a restaurant that talks to you about food, NOT a cooking class. I have taken many cooking classes and this is the worst yet. You hardly actually cook anything (the majority of the items are cooked in the kitchen and served to you at the end). The food they give you is very delicious though! And they have an incredible amount of down time. It felt completely wasteful. In fact, it took over an hour and a half longer than advertised which cut into the minimal time available for other port experiences. Despite them allowing children for a hefty fee, nothing about the experience caters to children. Additionally, if you do not come in a pair, they will pair you up with a stranger to share from plates of food. Every other cooking class I have done, you completely prepare your own food and only your own food. Here, you prepare as a very large group and everyone eats each others food which is completely unsanitary. Not to mention, another guest was paired up with a woman with large herpes that she kept touching and they had to share food from the same plate. The same woman was touching food later served to others. It is never acceptable to share food with a stranger, especially not on a pricey excursion. Food should be individually plated and prepared every time. At the end they serve the most delicious flan, but it was one small piece again to be shared between two guests. I really wanted to enjoy this but I cannot recommend at all. This was my least favorite excursion/experience while traveling and I have traveled A LOT.
