Excellent ATV experience - Great ATV experience! I was not looking forward to the long drive, but luckily we were the last pickup on the way and the first drop off coming back. It was about 30 minutes in an airconditioned van from our hotel just passed the Medano Beach area. They are very organized with their transportation, it was easy to get a shuttle back after our ATV/lunch/tequila tasting experience was over. The property is perfect for ATVs. We spent about 30 mins riding up and down the beach on open sand along the waves and on trails. We took a quick 15 mi break then boarded the ATVs for the inland ride up a dry river bed. Great trails. There are goats with shepherding dogs. We opted for the private tour (3 of us) so that we could go at our own pace and bring our phones for pictures. So fun!

So much fun! - The ATV was WILD :-) and so much fun! Get ready for the dusty off road! And NO speed limit! (Just kidding, but it was much much faster than any ATV you can get in the US). The tour guide was very friendly. The photographer was very professional and took some amazing photos along the route. BTW, it is kids friendly. They can ride with you.

Check This Place Out! - I had never driven an ATV before coming to G-Force, and I am very glad that this was my first experience! Tony was our guide. He was extremely friendly, professional, and fun to be around. We had varying skill levels with ATVs, but Tony made sure that we were all heading along at a steady pace and accounted for everyone along the way so we could stay as a group. The ride was great! From a lookout point to the beach and back; the trail had a varied layout that kept you engaged but still allowed for some breathing room to enjoy the scenery. We also enjoyed some delicious food and a fantastic tequila tasting when we returned from the ride. Tony educated us on the process of making the tequila and answered any questions that the group had. Tony and the other stellar crew members worked hard to provide us with a memorable and fun experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who is interested!

Nice ride, poor post ride experience - The ATV ride was nice (long) and the food we ate afterwards while waiting for our van back was tasty. The downside was the restaurant was open air and there were so many flies, we couldn't enjoy it. We had to cover everything up with napkins while we ate. In addition, we took this excursion on 3/29 and we STILL HAVE NOT been able to get our pictures that were paid for. My cousin has emailed them twice. If you're planning to book this excursion, be leery of buy Ing the pictures.

Price and fees were not transparent. Total tourist trap. - Our group of 6 was extremely disappointed by our experience on this excursion. When booking my this tour, we found the prices to be a little on the higher side, but decided to bite the bullet because of the glowing reviews on Viator and that the schedule lined up with our time in Cabo. We came from a cruise ship, which required us to return to the dock at a specific time to tender (boat shuttle) back to the boat. When booking the tour, I messaged back and forth with the tour operator, who was very helpful, kind, and responsive. They assured me that if we opted for the “private tour” for $35 extra per person, we would be able to be back to the docks in plenty of time. When we arrived at the pickup location, the van was branded with a different company name than the tour company on the booking description (our information said “G-Force Tours”, but the van was branded “Cactus tours”. This was not a huge issue, but was a little confusing to our group. When we arrived at the main location, there was a long line to “check in” (about 20 minutes of the precious time we had there). At the check in counter, the woman informed us that in addition to the $120 per person base, $25 ‘park entrance fee’, and $35 private tour fee, there was an additional $35 fee for ‘vehicle insurance’. When we tried to decline the insurance, they let us know that we would receive an $800 charge on our credit card, which could be refunded in 7-10 business days IF the vehicles came back without a scratch. They totally spooked us into paying with tactics like “most guests pay for the insurance for peace of mind and “a minor accident could easily be more than $800, and the $35 each is a small price to pay.” We folded and bought the insurance, which put a horrible taste in our mouths, and brought our grand total after the processing fee to $1,308 ($218/person). The tour overall was fine. The description online described it “as a guided ATV tour with a private guide who is an expert on the area, implying that we would learn about the area and ecosystem. In reality, we just followed the guide in a straight line with sand and shrubbery that didn’t seem like anything interesting or special. At one point, one of the members of our group veered out of the line on an area of open beach to get some speed. The guide stopped everyone and explained that we had to keep in a line since we didn’t know the area (we wouldn’t have vetted out on any of the trails we were on, but it seemed silly that we needed to stay in a straight line on the open beach). At one point when we stop for a break, we asked the guide to take a picture of our group with our phones (which we were allowed to bring on the private tour), but he refused to take a picture of our group for fear of management retribution. When we returned to the main area, we tried the free tequila tasting, which was fine, but nothing to write home about. Food was supposed to be included with our tour, but we did not have time because we needed to leave to get back to our cruise ship. The tour staff was not very accommodating about getting us back to the docks quickly, and we were kind of sweating it at the end. Overall, I would not recommend this tour. We felt lied to by the description online, and spent way more than we were expecting for a subpar experience. The location felt like a total tourist trap, and that they wanted to squeeze us for all our money, and didn’t care whether or not we enjoyed the experience.
