AMAZING Catalina Island Bison Expedition - The Catalina Bison Expidition is probably the best decision you could make when going to Catalina Island. The 2 hour tour around the island was simply put; INCREDIBLE. Even though you might think 2 hours is a long time, i promise that you wish the tour was double as long, after the tour ends.
The guide we had; Andrew, had the best energy. He was funny, put on some matching music for the “rough” parts of the road (That i won’t spoil), and had an incredible interactive way of doing this tour. If i could give this tour 10 stars, i would. It’s worth the money. TRY IT OUT!!!

Best Tour Ever! - Catalina Bison Experience was everything we’d hoped it would be. Our extremely knowledgeable tour guide Halvy took us to the tippy top of the island explaining every detail of the island founders and subsequent owners. Halvy was AMAZING. Get him as your guide if you’re able. On the way to the Airport in the Sky we even saw BISON 😳. While seeing bisons is not guaranteed we were fortunate enough to actually see them. Best tour EVER!

So much fun! - We did the bison/hummer expedition and it was so fun & memorable**. Our tour guide was great- his narration throughout was very entertaining. We saw several bisons meandering about. We also learned about Catalina Island’s history, how the bison ended up there and the late great Mr. Wrigley.
The roads by the bison area were rough! Very twisty and bumpy that we felt like a box of vegetables in the back of the vehicle, bouncing all over each other. My preschooler loved it! Watch out for trees & overgrown bushes that might scrape along the vehicle: my older son got whacked a few times, d’oh! So hilarious, exciting and fun!! We really wanted the hummer to go faster, but one passenger started feeling sick.
**I don’t recommend this adventure if you have neck/back problems or motion sickness.
We had a blast! I highly recommend this for the crazy, adventurous people out there.

Highly recommend - Halvey guided our tour on July 30, 2024. He was incredibly engaging and had an encyclopedic knowledge of the island and its history. We were able to see a bison up close and Halvey made sure we did not feel rushed at any point in the trip.

Thrilling and informative tour with immaculate views! - The bison expedition was an amazing experience. Our tour guide and driver Halvy was phenomenal and ensured the passengers had a great time. It was exciting seeing the bison so close and also interesting learning about the history of the island, which Halvy was very knowledgeable about. He was dedicated to making sure we saw a few bison. Regardless of the bison, the stunning island views and Halvy's stories of the island already made it a pretty stellar expedition.

Bison Expedition tour - Sent my 2 teenagers (15 & 18yrs) on the Bison tour. They said the BEST experience EVER! Tour guide was informative and very funny. Also, made an extra stop at the small airport. They were less than 10ft away from a bison! Had an AMAZING time. Worth the $.

Stunning - This island is amazing, it feels like you are in Capri, plenty to see in this hidden GEM.many hotels in area if you choose to stay for a couple of days and for your convenience you can rent golf cart to navigate in the island

Bison Tour Canceled Last minute - Booked for my birthday. Driver for Bison tour canceled last minute. Lady on the phone was curt and issued credit but Warren at the check in counter was super helpful and comped us drinks, another bus tour and a discount on dinner. Warren is the best 👌

Zero communication - The trip was canceled last second. There was zero warning ahead of time or any discussion tied to the fact the afternoon trips could get canceled. We would of booked earlier if there was any warning or discussion that this could happen. Awful communication
