- Venice Beach Boardwalk - The Venice Beach Boardwalk is a premier tourist attraction in Los Angeles. Part of the Ocean Front Walk, it features a long stretch of concrete paths along the Pacific Ocean beaches. However, the surf and sand aren’t the main attractions here. Instead, it’s the lively beachside sidewalks, filled with fascinating characters. As a cultural hotspot, people-watching here is unmatched anywhere else in LA.
Along the Venice Beach Boardwalk, you’ll encounter fortune tellers, unique artists, chanting Hare Krishnas, and roller-skaters in bikinis. You’ll also meet everyone else eager to experience Southern California’s diverse beachfront neighborhood. Skateboarding enthusiasts can watch professionals at the skatepark, while surfing fans can catch waves near the pier. Visit one of the bars or restaurants and watch the boardwalk action unfold before you. The boardwalk is also an excellent place to shop for gifts and souvenirs.

Situated in a thoughtfully reimagined 1915 landmark that was once a favorite of Hollywood’s elite, the V is at the center of it all — Venice’s famous skate park, surf, iconic Boardwalk, shopping, entertainment, and Abbot Kinney’s diverse dining are just steps away.
- Venice Beach Skatepark - The renowned Venice Skate Park, where the greatest skaters have emerged.
- Basketball Courts, Venice Beach - The iconic Venice Beach Basketball Courts are located on Southern California’s Venice Beach and are among the most famous basketball courts worldwide. Between the beach, shops, sunshine, and bodybuilders, the legendary courts gained even more fame when featured in the movie White Men Can’t Jump. Plenty of pick-up games.
- Muscle Beach Venice - Muscle Beach Venice is the “Home of Bodybuilding,” nestled right in the heart of Venice Beach since 1963. Some of the biggest names in bodybuilding and film, including Franco Columbu, Lou Ferrigno, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Frank Zane, have all called Muscle Beach Venice home. Bodybuilders and bodybuilding enthusiasts flock to this outdoor gym to work out and be part of the bodybuilding tradition. Muscle Beach Venice is open 7 days a week except for major holidays, city holidays, rainy days, and annual fitness events. Gym hours vary based on the time of year.
- Venice Canals Walkway - The Venice Canals in Los Angeles County offer one of the most unique experiences during a day at the beach. The canals are located just off 25th street in Venice Beach, and if you didn’t know they were there, you might easily walk past them. The area is primarily a neighborhood of houses lining four canals, each about a quarter-mile long. Along these channels are sidewalks and bridges you can walk to enjoy the views of this beautiful area.
