An unforgettable day full of action and fun! - Our visit to Universal Studios Hollywood was simply fantastic and one of the highlights of our trip! The mix of thrilling rides, impressive shows and fascinating studio tours makes the park an experience for young and old. Especially impressive was the studio tour, where you can look behind the scenes of real movie sets – including famous scenes from blockbusters. The roller coasters and themed rides, such as Harry Potter or Jurassic World, are action-packed, highly detailed and provide plenty of fun and adrenaline. The shows are entertaining and lovingly staged, and everywhere you feel the passion for film and television. The park grounds are well maintained, the restaurants offer a good selection, and the Service was consistently friendly. We spent the whole day there and it never felt rushed as everything is well organized. For movie fans, adrenaline junkies or families, Universal Studios Hollywood is absolutely worthwhile and an experience not to be missed!

Great time in October without the kids. Covered the whole park in one day. - Two 50-something adults went in October, so we were able to do the Hollywood Halloween event Friday night and do the regular theme park on Saturday and have a good time -even without kids. We were able to do almost everything at the main park in one day. Walked about 7 miles. I think Fall is a good time to go, because it is not crazy hot. There were still a lot of people, but I imagine that summer is ever more crowded. Many of the guests were in constumes due to the Halloween event each night. Food is expensive, but that’s to be expected, I guess. They had some vegan options: garden burgers, vegan meatloaf and mash potatoes, etc. The Mummy, Transformers, Jurassic Park (water ride = get wet), Bowser and Harry Potter rides were great, but 60-90m wait if you don’t have the express pass. Super Nintendo World is cute, but mostly for kids. They have a $40 bracelet you can buy there to earn gold coins (points) like a scavenger hunt and try to get a top score. We did not opt for this. I think the way to go is to buy the early entry add-on pass (an extra $20). It gets you into Nintendo World at 8am (even 7:45am) instead of 9am. You can go see Nintendo land and do the Bowser ride at the far end of the park. Then, you can hit all the top rides while the park is still mostly empty -maybe a 10m wait. Go fast before the park fills up! If you can’t get there early and/or if you want to do all the big rides at least twice, you are going to be waiting a lot. However, for $200-250 each person, you can get the express pass and basically skip the line once for each ride. It was worth it for us, but it is a cost. All in all, had a great time. Stayed close by at the Sheridan Hotel. You can book just about everying online as a package deal.

Great day but could be better - Overall we (2 adults and 2 children -17&12) had a great time. We went on a Friday so was quieter but I still paid for the express pass and paid for one hour before opening for Super Nintendo land. Now there are some great ride but for some if I had to wait more than 10 mins I would have been annoyed as they were not the best. So the express passes really helped. Also meant we had done almost all the rides by 1pm and were able to go on rides again. Best rides were the revenge of the mummy and Harry Potter forbidden journey. All other rides were movie animations and moving seats. The worst ride was the flight of the hippograff, if I had to queue I would have asked for the time back, it was literally 2 mins and only went round once. What annoyed me was 1. I paid for Super Nintendo world to go early, there is only one ride - otherwise you have to buy wristbands which is a joke. While we could pay I am sure there are many who wouldn’t not be able to afford and therefore that one hour extra was pointless 2. Lockers - now for small items it’s free however most people have bags with snack/drinks etc. so big - even my handbag was too big for the small lockers. So we had to pay £5 - I’ve been to many theme parks around the world and normally you can just leave it on the side while you ride. 3. Food provisions - for the current environment the vegetarian options were awful! In fact there were none to little! I was really disappointed. What we did buy was not the best as expected. 4. Parking - ranged from $35-120 - which is different from what is on the website. we paid for preferred parking at $60 as it was still close. Overall we had a really nice day but could have been better as the additional pardons for tourist traveling from outside USA can be alot.

Slightly disappointed - Were a bit disappointed as the park is very small. Not appropriate for the entrance fee. About twice the size in Florida. The duration of the rides also frighteningly short. It's not worth waiting for. Park in “universal style” well opened and the studio tour was very interesting

Not the greatest theme park - There are not many rides and they are mostly simulators . Park felt very old and the studio tour was too long . Building new roller coaster so if you want to go wait till 2026 .
