The tour also includes a stop at the Original Farmers Market, a true LA icon, where you can indulge in a variety of culinary delights. Whether you’re craving a fresh salad or a decadent dessert, there’s something for every palate.
“Good tour of the city - I spent this tour on a one day layover in LA. I was promptly picked up at hotel and driven to the loading spot. The boarding process is NOT consumer friendly. The large groups and couples get to board first and solo travelers get to sit in the crappy seats. People should board by the date of their reservation. Our driver Joe was great. He was very informative and was funny. Our first stop at Santa Monica pier was good for a walk but as we were so early most things were closed. Our next stop was Venice beach which is filled with souvenir shops, some eateries and again we were a bit early but there are plenty of walking paths. Stop 3 was Beverly Hills/Rodeo drive. We had about 40” to grab a snack or shop. Stop 4 at the famous farmers market gave us 60” so there was plenty of time to eat or shop. There is a wide variety of cuisine including pizza, French, Mexican, vegetarian and seafood. I ate at Roxy and Jo’s and had the fish taco special which was two excellent fish tacos for $15. Stop 5 was the famous Griffin Observatory which offers excellent views of the Hollywood sign and downtown LA. Our last stop was the walk of fame/ Dolby theatre. The area is pretty facky and dirty but was fun. They were setting up for the oscars so that was fun to see. The trip concluded with hotel drop off. The day was a good way to see the city, get some history and not have to worry about transportation. It is a very long day as I was picked up at 830am and was dropped off at my hotel near LAX at 630pm. I feel pricing was fair and joe was a great guide. I would recommend this tour.” - Reviewed on 2025-02-25
