Beautiful trip - The drive up the canyon was wonderful. Our guide gave us lots of information about the area and information about the mission. The lunch was most excellent. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Loved this Tour! - Our guide, Damian, was fantastic, very knowledgeable and detailed about the area’s history, plant life, and focus of the tour, the San Javier Mission. You could tell he genuinely cared that we were learning a lot and enjoying ourselves. The scenery was gorgeous, the food was delicious. He went above and beyond showing us some highlights in Loreto as well on our way back. We highly recommend this tour, all seven of our family members, from 19-70 years old had a terrific time.

Tour to San Javier Mission - We were visiting Loreto by cruse ship. We thought this tour sounded interesting and it was. We enjoyed walking around the old Mission, seeing the old olive tree and eating lunch.

Excellent tour rich in history - This was an enlightening tour rich in history and beautiful views of the desert mountains. The Mission was very interesting and the small village of San Javier was quaint. Santos was the best guide we have ever had. Being from the area, he was exceptionally knowledgeable about the history, flora, fauna, etc. in the area. He made the experience very enjoyable.

If motion sickness is a problem, this may not be for you. - Loved stepping back to a simpler time. The guide was engaging and scenery is beautiful. The ride up and down the mountain to get to the mission is very windy and the driver was safe but fast. Beware if prone to motion sickness.

A great experience in a small Mexican town - the road trip is very interesting. The Mission and town were a chance to see how most Mexicans live. The price compared to the cruise line was a great bargain and there were only 8 people on the tour compared with what looked like 50 on the cruise tour. Also we were able to do photo stops!
