- The maximum speed is 5 mph. Before take-off, our dock master gives the captain a very detailed description of the Bay, where to go, and what you can see.
- We’re pet-friendly! We always encourage guests to bring along their four-legged friend.

We rented an electric boat from London boat rentals in Long Beach following our positive experience of renting a boat in Newport Beach. Long Beach harbor proved to be a lot different: channels are wider with a strong current and a strong wind that both made tour captain's job quite challenging. But of course it has nothing to do with the service provided, just a side note.
The guys in the office were nice and friendly. The real problem we had was the boat condition. The deck is covered with a tent with plastic walls/windows that are supposed either to be zipped up to work as a shield or to be open and attached to the roof with stripes. None of these worked in our boat: all zippers were broken and we couldn't close the windows; all strips were torn - we couldn't fix the plastic shields on the roof. So we ended up having plastic walls waving in the wind and flapping us on heads and faces. We had kids on boards. That's unacceptable and made us dissatisfied with the service offered by London boat rentals.

What ride? You canceled my ride and I had to spend more money with another company. You promised a refund and didn't do it. You have a phone number that never answers. Horrible company and will never use again Anchors Away did give me a great service.

This company is a SCAM! sent out party a confirmation email and have us fill out the waiver just to show up to the office closed due to “city maintenance”. No one answered our calls or replied to our emails. This is a very unprofessional company. Thankfully we went to Huntington Boat Rentals were able to assist us. Even the workers there mentioned they have friends who work for your company and all they do is complain about how terrible it is to work with you. We have disputed the charges and will be getting a full refund. I will never recommend anyone obtain your services.

I was informed by a staff member from London boat rentals on April 10th that due to electrical problems/issues with the boats I’ll be getting a refund for the inconvenience. I have been trying to reach them all day April 11th with no response or even able to leave a voicemail. I didn’t even get to enjoy my birthday event due to there cancellation but I have not received a refund. If the London boat rental see this delete your old voicemails so people can have a chance to get return calls

I had a reservation and they cancelled it less than 24 hours from the time of rental. They offered a refund but it took them a week to issue it and I have to wait an extra 10 business days to receive it. They never pick up the phone or reply to voicemails when trying to get in touch with them. Keep away from this place. PCH boat rentals are cheaper and have much better customer service. If you look at the yelp reviews there are a lot of the same issues.

We booked for Easter Sunday and we were informed the night before that our reservation was cancelled. I was told the city was suppose to finish work on the dock by Friday, but once you knew it wasn't completed on Friday, we should have received a call. We still haven't received a refund for $269.31.

Had a reservation for my birthday this past weekend, I received a call from the company the day before my reservation stating the boats had electrical issues and they had to cancel my reservation. I have yet to receive any email in regards to a cancellation confirmation or my refund back onto my card.
