I was impressed exceeded my expectations - I was actually impressed by the Tower of London! Founded in 1078, this historic fortress, palace, and former prison is full of history. The Crown Jewels are absolutely stunning (no photos allowed), but you can take pictures of the medieval galleries and grounds, which are wow, wow — elegant, impressive, and majestic. Like Buckingham Palace, it can get very crowded with lots of people back-to-back. Definitely allow at least two hours to fully enjoy the visit.

Great history! - Fascinating for a history lover! Incredible to learn about the royal history, see the Crown Jewels and see the imprisonment tower. I went on a Wednesday. It was crowded but I was able to see everything I wanted to see. Highly recommend!

Don’t miss Nev’s Beefeater/Yeoman Warder tour at London Tower - truly a highlight of our trip!!! - I cannot recommend the Tour of London Beefeater/Yeoman Warder tour that we had with Nev enough!!!!! This has absolutely been one of the highlights of our trip, and Nev was truly one of a kind. From the jokes, to the history with Nev’s fun twist, to the personal touches, we had an absolute blast! We learned so much about this huge establishment and its history; we have done quite a few guided tours of this nature when traveling, and we left saying that this was one of the best we’ve ever had! When we visit again, we will look for Nev when we come back to do this tour (he was that terrific) - Nev, if you’re reading this, I still owe you that pint and that crowd surf!

Great experience to learn about the history of the Tower of London. - Fantastic experience and well worth the price of admission. Highly recommend the beefeater tour, as they tell the history of the tower in a humorous and engaging way. The Crown Jewels and White Tower were really cool and the displays were great. Overall, awesome!

Ravens, legends, and lasting memories - The Tower of London was one of the highlights of my trip to the city. The history here is incredible, and every corner feels like it has a story to tell. What I enjoyed most were the ravens - they bring so much character to the place, and learning about their connection to the tower was fascinating. The Ravens Souvenir Shop was a nice surprise too, offering unique items you won’t find anywhere else. And of course, the views from the tower are fantastic, giving you an amazing perspective of London. A visit that blends legend, history, and scenery perfectly - highly recommended

Excellent tour, hilarious guide, lots to see - We bought this tour, thinking it was something extra, but they never checked our tickets at entry, and the tour with the Beefeater seemed to be included whether you bought this tour or not? They had a tour leaving every 30 minutes or so. It was a bit confusing as we had to ask where the tours started, but worth it because the beefeater guide we has was absolutely fantastic. Very engaging and hilarious. Didn't catch his name, but will drop a photo below. The tour lasted maybe 45-50 minutes, then we were on our own to explore. The place is expansive and so, so interesting. We could have easily spent 5-6 hours here, but we ran out of time. A must-see for visitors to London!

A corner of the Middle Ages in busy London 🇬🇧 - Let’s start from this cultural experience as an example to describe the eclectic city of London. The fortress, with its walls, its keep and its medieval atmosphere allows you to step back in time while also enjoying a pinch of royalty thanks to the Crown Jewels exhibition. It is also interesting to see the guards and legendary crows that animate the tower. However, we cannot fail to mention the other corners of the city that thrilled us, from Westminster Abbey with its secrets to the most modern and fashionable corners such as Soho, Carnaby Street and Covent Garden. A city, London, able to combine past and present in a single soul open to the world thanks to the crossroads of cultures that are found there. See you next time, London 🇬🇧

Tower tours - Good, but there needs to be some kind of guided tour. The people controlling the gates kind of pushed us through and never told us anything. We stayed there all day and had a good time.

Well worth a visit for sure. - We loved our visit to the Tower of London and the Crown Jewels visit. There is so much history here; take the time to read and listen. Be aware, there are a LOT of stairs. This became an issue for us, even being in pretty good shape, so we limited what we were able to see due to exhaustion.
