Sharm diamond gem - Visited on Friday last week, was very busy and was welcome by a great customer service from sharm. He was managing everywhere there as it looked like shortage of staffs and felt sorry for him abit as he had to manage all sections and making sure everyone were scanned in smoothly. As we got our bag check we were welcome greatly by sharm and then he explained to us what was happening today and what shows were on and explained everything to us as it was our 1st time here. He did get disturbed to help out with something else elsewhere and there was no one else there to help him out as looked like no staff available.... then he came back apologies and continued explaining everything. He was amazing and even though he looked stressed out he was always happy to serve and welcoming!!! Staff like sharm is a massive diamond asset to London zoo with his amazing service!!! Many thanks sharm!!

Penguin Keeper Experience - We visited the penguin keeper experience and it was awesome. Leo and Yolanda looked after us brilliantly and we loved learning all about the penguins as well as feeding them. The rest of the zoo was great too. Thanks for an amazing day.

Beautiful experience with animals - Visted with my 10 month old. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I found this was really good value for money as you could easily spend the whole day there. The facilities were amazing but the only downside is that they aren't sign posted. For instance, i was telling my sister how good it would be if there was lockers here which there were but we had no idea. Remember if you have blue light or on universal credits you can get discounts. ❤️

Magical day out - My cousin and I had a fabulous time at London Zoo yesterday, looking for somewhere a bit different to meet up. The zoo was fabulous. The animals look incredibly well cared for, there is a big focus on conservation. It is a huge site and we saw an incredible number of animals - giraffes, gorillas, numerous types of monkeys, reptiles, tigers, lions, penguins - so much more. We even got to feed the penguins! (for an extra fee). The whole site is really clean, lots of cafe, picnic and toilet facilities, as well as places to refill your water bottle. Staff and volunteers really friendly and knowledgeable. Can't wait to go back! We live in London and are amazed this is on our doorstep.

Perfect Activity for families and kids. - This zoo is amazing. So much better for interacting with the animals. The walk through enclosures are incredible as the animals are sharing their space with you. Lemurs sitting right next to you! The staff is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Especially if you are in London with children you must visit

A tired zoo - This zoo seems to spend too much time on looking at it's history and less on looking to the future The zoo is a curious mixture of modern exhibits, modernised historical exhibits and old buildings in desperate need of renovation. Some of the areas are amazing such as the lion and tiger areas. Whilst the poor kangaroos looked pretty miffed in their crumbling 1960's residence. The zoo is also expansively located sprawling across a vast area with limited logic/ overall strategy. On the plus side, lots of unusual animals to see and a gift shop that doesn't have crazy prices.

Not great but just okay - Definitely gone down hill Hardly any animals about to be honest Gorillas were good to see especially the babies The walk through of the tropical birds was also a nice part of the zoo

Having travelled to... - Having travelled to several countries & visited their zoos, I was extremely disappointed with London Zoo. It would have to be the worse one I have visited. Very few enclosures had exhibits in them. Those that had exhibits, most only had one animal on display.

Overpriced - I paid £37 for this. There isn't a great variety of animals. In the Night House it was almost impossible to see. The highlight was the Butterfly enclosure. Tigers sleeping, one lion. I really can't recommend iy.

Was expecting more - Surprised at the up keep of the zoo thought it would a little more cleaner & some of the enclosures better maintained. Partner in a wheelchair some areas very hard to negotiate.
