Perfect day, beautiful zoo - AMAZING day. I really never understand how anyone can give London Zoo a bad review. It is clean, well maintained, friendly staff, nice food, happy healthy animals, just a perfect day. I especially loved seeing the gorilla family, and penguin beach looked amazing...such a nice pool. Lion area has lovely India theming and just everything was great. People must realise a lot if the ticket price goes to taking care of the animals. I really enjoyed my day today. Definitely will come again and bring friends.

Awesome day out, variety of active animals - Family of 5 visited London zoo It was over Easter weekend so quite busy but still managed to see all animals and enjoy a full and fabulous day. The staff were brilliant! Particularly the volunteer in the replie & amphibian house, telling us all about the most amazing frogs I've ever seen! We loved the show, the butterflies and so much more. We will definitely be back.

Great zoo 🇬🇧 - A great zoo with lots of animals to visit. I especially enjoyed the lion enclosure as it was themed excellently. Will 100% be returning!

Beautiful, friendly accommodating - A beautifully well presented zoo with caring, helpful and friendly staff. I convinced my wife to do the spider walk with me, I’m ok with spiders, she not so much. After A LOT of back and forth, she agreed. This took massive courage for her and I cannot stress how incredibly proud and respectful of her I am. On entering, a young lady member of staff noticed my wife’s grip on my hand (the feeling has just started to return) and approached us explaining about and how they just want to stay in their webs. We completed the walk, taking photos and I swear my wife grew an inch or two after (she then proceeded to call our son and tell him she did it). The whole zoological experience was magnificent, but that particular experience will stay with us forever.

Best finish to our Easter holidays - What a lovely day we had! We took our 9 year old for the first time and though we’ve been to farms before this was the first time he showed interest in the animals and that was to the credit of how fun and engaging the zoo was. He loved using the map to guide us round to the animals he wanted to see, he loved how interactive the talks was and of course discovering his new favourite animals - the giraffes and the gorillas. To top it off we joined in the Easter egg hunt. This was so fun and probably the best Easter egg hunt we did all half term. Great way to see the Zoo in a different way and I loved the Sihek conversation link too. It’s clear the amazing work that is done here and we can’t wait to come back in the summer! Great value for money and a lovely wholesome family day

Birthday celebration at London Zoo - We loved the interactive walk throughs! We wondered if there could be more wallabies and maybe a feeding walk through. The tigers seemed to be pacing a lot and we wondered if they were unhappy. The lions were amazing and fun! They clearly were enjoying life! The otter family were the best. They had a wonderful enclosure and we loved watching them play and dash from one pool to the next. The porpoising penguins and vigilant Meerkats were incredible We had a wonderful picnic. I was very anxious at the beginning of the day. I am still recovering from my 28 year old son being killed in an underground station in the summer. My bag got stuck in a broken locker and it sent me into a spin. A volunteer got an official who could see I wasn’t coping and immediately offered two free lockers for the day. IIt made all the difference to my day. How kind. My daughter is training to be a vet and it was her 22nd birthday celebration. It was the first birthday she had without her brother. The animals at London Zoo helped us though. Thankyou

Good little day out. - Travelled to London to visit this zoo. It was easy to walk to from London Euston. I would recommend getting there a good 20/30mintues before opening times as the ques can get very big. The entrance doesn't look much compared to whispnade. Very large zoo and alot of walking definitely easy to use the maps provided to get around. As soon as you get in there is a shop to the right where you can rent , wagons which kids loved! Also buggy and wheelchairs if needed. I loved the fact they had a machine where for £5 pound you could rent portable charging packs for your phone! This was a godsend! Especially when constantly taking pictures phone can die pretty quick. This is a fantastic idea!. Plenty of animal to see, only thing I did find annoying that when trying to take pics of the lions laying down there is newly placed wood bits which gets in the way off taking pics when on the lower ground part. Plenty of places to sit and eat your lunches. Plenty of toilets. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed there day here. I would like to give a huge praise to staff member who deserves recognition. I didn't catch her name but she had a sunflower lanyard on and short hair. She went out of her way to help us find my nephews jacket! She was very friendly had a nice chat with her. I hope the zoo recognises what a brilliant team member she is!

Lovely day out - We had a really lovely day out and loved the penguins and butterflies the most. There is loads to do and you can spend hours here. The entry price is large though, especially for a family and the monkey walk was closed which we were really looking forward to. Nevertheless, a lovely day out.

Lots of empty enclosures - very poor experience. - We travelled from the north east of England to visit London Zoo so had already spent money on train tickets and a hotel for the night. Our visit to London Zoo was very disappointing and we will not be returning. Lots of empty exhibits. We just wandered around looking for animals to see only to stare at empty enclosures. Even the massive Monkey World outdoor enclosure was empty and they had a member of staff announcing on the speaker that they were sorry but all the monkeys were inside sleeping! Really?? All of them, during the day?? As it was the school holidays it was busy so it was practically impossible to get to look in the viewing windows. Too many people allowed in. Also, stood in a queue at one of the kiosks for a good 20 minutes only to bypassed by the server, who moved on to the next customer without even acknowledging I was there. I walked away with no lunch. We left after 2.5 hours and wandered through Regent’s Park back to central London (and went somewhere else). Overall, considering this is our capital city zoo, it was a very poor experience. There are better zoos elsewhere in the country. Even our local one was better! I think we saw one giraffe, one zebra and a few small animals!

Bad experience - Legalized theft, the worst money spent in London. I was in the family with the kids. Dirty and badly maintained. Very few animals, empty and abandoned pens. 30 quid to see goats and penguins. Tiger, gorilla, and hippopotamus nonexistent. Bad experience. Very ugly.
