Floating Along - I rather enjoyed the boat ride along the Thames River. The staff would explain different icons along the water way with recommendations of sights to see, pubs to eat ate and a joke here and there. I liked the light heartless of the journey. I also loved the hop on and off package. The staff gives a time table of docking and undocking making it convenient.

Easy and fun water tour - So easy to do a river cruise, great live commentary and loved seeing everything from the river. Well worth it. Do go up to Greenwich, great destination boat.

Absolutely first class - We took our two Grand children for a trip down the Thames to Greenwich to see the Cutty Sark. We had a wonderful cruise down the River accompanied by a brilliant commentary by the lovely man who gave us the safety drill at the beginning . He pointed out all of the places of interest of which there are many and added humour to it too. Keep up the great work. We highly recommend this company, the staff and excellent boats.

Great way to see London - Bought a hop in hop off ticket and boarded at the London eye. As it was a lovely day but the top deck was already full, so boarding at Westminster Bridge would have been a better idea if we had wanted a seat. Standing upstairs at the rear of the boat did give a good view. The only drawback was that it was not that easy to hear the commentary, which was interesting and full of facts about the sights along the Thames. We did get a great view of Tower Bridge lifting though.
We disembarked at the Tower of London, which was not our initial plan, but as the next stop at Greenwich was a further 30 minutes each way, plus a 30 min stop, we could not wait 1.5 hours to get back to the Tower of London. It was a pity as we would have liked to have seen more of the river, and did not have time to return.
I would potentially do the trip again but from further up the river and allow more time to compete the whole journey.

London City - River Cruise Experience - How relaxing and enjoyable cruising along the Thames for an hour - boarding at Westminster Pier and travelling all the way up to Greenwich. It is highly recommended to cruise, as it does provide a different perspective of this beautiful and historic city of London. Well appreciative of our guide's extensive knowledge, providing interesting tidbits of information as we travelled past historical (and not so well-known) touristy locations and buildings - and I managed to learn a ting or two along the way (eg. Waterloo Bridge - otherwise known as the Ladies' Bridge, constructed during WW2 on time & on budget by women ! And the story of John Harvard, starting from rather humble beginnings, the son of a local butcher and tavern owner - going on to found the Harvard dynasty in the USA, etc). Highly recommended!.

Lovely scenery; guide hard to hear. - The staff was friendly and efficient. The boat ride was nice, but the guide was hard to hear and understand because the passengers were talking and the boat engines were loud.

Good views of the city. - The views were good. It was hard to understand the tour guide due to the boat engines and the other people talking on the boat.

*** DANGER *** - A brilliant trip from Tower Hill to Greenwich, with very informative and witty commentary. We were glad to be able to contribute to our Guide’s long bus journey home!! 😂
The return journey from Greenwich at 4.30 on Thursday 25 April was a different story altogether. We have travelled on many ferries, boats and ships and never before have we experienced the complete chaos that resulted from embarking passengers at Tower Hill before those leaving were allowed to disembark. This was dangerous in the extreme and reflected very badly on City Cruises on what otherwise had been a great experience.

Terrible customer support - Partner fell ill before I could board the tour and so I wasn't able to take the tour as wished. City Cruises support was terrible and advised they would escalate the matter and contact me within 24 hours which they failed to do. Had to chase them up and did not get my issue resolved.

Really angry - Really disappointing experience for our group of 70 students: we got on the boat in Westminster Pier and were not allowed to go on the upper deck because we were too many people and were told that that's how it works. We paid our tickets just like the other passengers and felt like this was really unfair!
