The tour begins at the front steps of St Martin-in-the-Fields Church, located on the east side of Trafalgar Square. As the group strolls through Trafalgar Square, they admire Nelson’s Column. The impressive bronze lions at the base of the Column are said to be crafted from the melted-down cannons captured by Nelson during the renowned Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.
The tour continues down London’s iconic Mall, passing by Henry VII’s St. James Palace, where participants can witness the traditional Changing of the Guard. Following this excellent photo opportunity, the group heads towards Buckingham Palace, the official residence of the Queen of England. While state ceremonies are held here, the Queen primarily resides at Windsor Castle.
