Ice fishing, a traditional Lappish winter activity, involves drilling a hole in the ice and patiently waiting to see if the fish beneath will take the bait. While fishing, participants can enjoy the warmth of a campfire and the pleasure of roasting sausages. Following the fishing experience, the group will proceed to the inviting wilderness cabin at Soma Hideout for a delightful fish soup lunch.
• Lompolo - To conclude the adventure, a visit to a local reindeer farm is planned, where participants can learn about reindeer and reindeer farming, as well as have the opportunity to feed the reindeer. After this enriching experience, the group will return to their holiday home in Levi.

The operator, serving as your local guide, will collect you from your accommodation in the Levi area using a mini van. The group size is intimate, with a maximum of 8 participants. The journey will take approximately 35 minutes to reach the wilderness village of Lompolo, where the Soma Hide Out cabin awaits. Here, the group will engage in ice fishing for perch. If successful, the catch will be fried in a traditional hut (kota), accompanied by grilled sausages. Following the fishing activity, a delightful soup lunch will be served, along with coffee and tea. Afterward, the group will visit a local reindeer farm to feed the reindeer with lichen. At the farm, antlers are available for purchase, so bringing cash is advisable! Throughout the day, participants will enjoy fascinating stories about Lapland, its lifestyle, nature, reindeer, and the Northern Lights. Expect to leave with cherished memories and stunning photos!
