We went around the key spots in Lomé City. - I went around with two guides. They were very kind and introduced us to the city in an easy-to-understand way, with historical and economic stories of Togo.

Exceptional tour operator & unique custom private tour of Lome - Fantastic private half day tour in Togo with Tao and his team from West Africa tours. From the pre-arrival communication to the tour itself, we were delighted. Tao tailored the tour to meet our interests in art, including a surprise stop at the unique mosaic home and studio of a local but internationally-acclaimed artist. We saw the major Togo sites, including the fetish market, which was a bit tough to take in but Tao had done well to inform us of the cultural and religious significance. We ended the day with a drink on the roof of a beachside bar, enjoying cool breezes and a great view of the coast. When we got back to our cruise ship it was clear from other guests that our day in Togo was a far better and more culturally rich experience than the mass ship tours. Very grateful to Tao and the team for a beautiful introduction to their beautiful country.

Best city tour in Lome! - I had an amazing day touring Lome with Tao! It was booked last minute and he was very accommodating even offering bf to pick me up from my hotel. The day included everything I wanted to see in Lome plus more local secrets. There was a lot of walking so make sure you fill up on water and accept his offer when he wants to buy you water! I went on a Sunday when the markets were very small, I would advise going on Sunday and maybe pick a day that the markets are more lively. Because I was solo, the tour was conducted on his motorbike and I liked that. Much more zippy through the city and had the fresh beach air as a natural air conditioner! But he was also very safe with his driving to make sure I felt safe in a chaotic city! I would recommend this to anyone that wants to see the city or even if you have a spare day.

Lovely trip and a nice guide - "I traveled to Togo with some friends from Germany. Since I could not speak French, I decided to go with Bedi and his company, and I never regretted it. We had a super nice time touring Lome and most parts of Togo. I highly recommend him as he is very knowledgeable and patient in explaining everything to me in English. Thank you for making our trip beautiful."

Visited Marcelo Beach, the Fetish Market, Independence Monument, an Artisan Village and Koumy House - As a solo traveler, you needed to be intrepid to take the tour. We traveled by motorbike around the city, and that would be unnerving to a lot of travelers though my guide is a fine driver. We visited Marcelo Beach, the Fetish Market, Independence Monument, an Artisan Village and Koumy House. Each was interesting. I wish I'd brought extra money as Koumy House has wonderful art.
