Fantastic intro to Slovenia - Fantastic group leader! Tuci provided an informative and enjoyable group experience. Tried 5 dishes on the culinary tour with sightseeing along the way. She also provided great recommendations for the rest of our trip. Highly recommended.

incredible tour for ljubljana and slovenia history (plus great food/wine!) - I had such a great time with Polona! Unfortunately, the rest of our tour had to cancel so she took me on an incredible solo tour around Ljubljana’s restaurants. It felt like I was meeting a new friend, except even better, because she had so much to share about Slovenian history, architecture, food, and wine. My favorite bites were the fried chicken, the traditional dumpling, and the Teran wine. Also, I loved that we ended with a traditional cake & sparkling wine instead of just gelato. Incredible value for the tour and a wonderful way to end my trip in Slovenia. I definitely recommend eating with Polona! She was wonderful!

Fabuous overview of Slovenia and its food and wine from guide Jasmina - Our guide, Jasmina, was exceptional! She had an in-depth knowledge of the town, the food, the wine and the history of Slovenia. She made the tour very enjoyable with her interesting fun facts. Was a wonderful way to see and experience Ljubljana.

Perfect introduction to Ljubljana! - Be ready to eat a good bit and also to drink a glass of wine at each stop. Also, come with rain gear just in case. Bring a water bottle if you tend to get thirsty for the walks in between the food stops. Ana was lovely! Had loads of info and knowledge! The food was delicious and we learned that Slovenian wine is phenomenal ! Wish we could get more of it in the States! This food tour gave our family of 5 a perfect intro to Slovenia! Thank you, Ana!

Don’t Miss This Fun and Interesting Tour! - Recently we took a tour of Ljubljana with our terrific guide Tusi. The experience was amazing and exceeded all of our expectations. Tusi is brimming with enthusiasm for sharing her knowledge of this beautiful city and her homeland of Slovenia. We explored Ljubljana at a leisurely pace, visiting many fascinating historic sites while Tusi explained their significance and patiently answered all our questions. We had the opportunity to try some delicious traditional foods and wines, met other travelers and even learned some Slovenian words. I highly recommend this tour and especially our super friendly and knowledgable guide Tusi. Uživate!

Do not eat before this... - Do not eat before this tour, a lot of local food and wine was supplied. Also our guide was so knowledgeable on the history so it was an added bonus. Really great value and highly recommended and a lot of laughs.

A delicious and fun way to experience Slovenian food and wine - We don't normally do food tours but we wanted to try different different Slovenian food and wine. Every dish was delicious. As a small group we walked between different venues in Ljubljana's Old Town, getting a light-hearted walking tour at the same time. From appetisers to dessert, we enjoyed almost full servings of each dish. We certainly walked slower as our stomachs filled. Jasmine, our guide and food and wine expert, was delightful. She went out of her way to ensure we had the best possible experience. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. Two of our party were very vegetarian and gluten free and were offered delicious options.

Good tour but the food let it down - We had a nice tour with Ana, who was a lovely and knowledgeable guide, however the food and wine were not good value for the cost.

Food walking tour - Tour guide spent too long at first location then remainder of tour was rushed. History summary a little intense. Shame.

A very poor experience as a culinary tour - You can see from the five photograph attached that the culinary element of this tour, which included a small sampling of sausage, greasy fried chicken, some cheese and ham, a dumpling, and a piece of cake, was very disappointing. If this is the height of culinary offerings in Ljubljana I would be astonished. I would honestly rank this as the worst food tour I’ve ever attended. As a wander around the city, it was quite an interesting experience. It’s just a shame that the food wasn’t as good as the walking part of the tour.
