An Unforgettable & Beautiful Experience for a Lifetime!!! - Wowwww Wat an Excellent trip to Skocjan Caves & Piran... The guided your inside the caves were so refreshing & Amazing., Especially starting with the Silent Cave & moving towards the natural noise with the river Reka 👌👌👌 Our tour Guide Emil - What to say about him!!! Such an outstanding Professional....So friendly ,helpful & So informative especially about the Slovenian History & Geographical features. He's So eloquent in communication. He has nice suggestions for Local restaurants as well!!! He also explained the process to become a Tourist Guide ,with 6 exams & a practical exam - Excellent from Slovenia 👏👏👏 A smaller group on the day helped as well, which enabled Emil to give insightful information. Also covered the Socerb Village including the Sveta Jama aka The Holy Cave... And finally finishing the tour in the Adriatic Coast in the small town of Piran which was very scenic too!! This tour with the Guide Emil - Definitely Worthy & not to miss out...

Really unforgettable - My tour guide, Mr. Emil is a very considerate and kind gentleman. He taught me so many things related to history of Slovenia, geography and culture during the road trip. Appreciated very much!! Talking about the trip, the Skocjan cave was so stunning. I was like being in a magical underworld that I had never seen places like this before. I enjoyed the tranquility and the echo of each droplet fell from the ceiling as well. We also visited Piran. It is a small town but the food there was so good. Climbing up to the Piran Wall, you will see the beautiful view of the whole peninsula.

What a great way to spend a day - This was such a great tour, and a big reason for that was the guide, Emil. From the moment he picked us up, he went above and beyond to make sure we got the absolute most out of our tour. He was very knowledgeable about Slovenian history as well. Visiting the Skocjan cave was a very cool experience. And I was over the moon for the chance to make it to the Istrian coastal city of Piran. Emil sent us to a great restaurant once we arrived and gave us a good orientation and plenty of time to discover the town. I highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic tour! - George was a wonderful tour guide. The caves are astounding. Though a bit challenging of a walk, my 91-year old mother was able to make it. Piran is a lovely town. We enjoyed the tour very much.

Brilliant day out - Fantastic day out - totally recommend it! The caves are well worth a visit as the experience is almost other worldly. However, be prepared for quite a walk - both uphill and downhill. The cave guides are excellent and they stay with you throughout the trek. Also make sure you wear shoes with grippy soles as it IS wet and damp in the caves. Piran is absolutely beautiful. We had a spot of good weather when we were there so it was even better. Lots of places to eat seafood and ice creams; you can sit and enjoy a coffee or a beer right by the sea. You can even take a swim at this time of the year - was told the water is just the right temperature!

Great day out - Great day out. The caves were amazing especially the river running through them. Although there were three parties going through the caves at the same time, it felt peaceful. Our tour guide for the day was full of interesting facts about Slovenia, and also was keen to go by the back roads so that we saw more of the culture.

A lovely trip in Slovenia - Our driver, Tomasz was terrific. The tour was relaxed and Skocjan cave was huge. The river running through it was incredible. We had beautiful views in Piran and enjoyed the time to walk around and see the sites.

Cave extraordinaire - Škocjan caves is not the usual cave experience like the Postojna more common and mainstream stalagmites and stalactites caves. Škocjan is about deep narrow ravines with roar of rushing waters, about great heights between ravine rapids and ceiling of cave, about the cave ceiling looking like upside down snow forest or extraordinary scenery from another planet, about eerie darkness and evidence of the first explorer dangerous routes discovering the caves!

Wonderful trip a must do - Our guide Gorazd was extremely knowledgeable about his stunning home country. The caves are amazing ensure that you wear non slip shoes as the floor can be a little slippery in places. Be prepared to walk up and down stairs there not steep and you can go at your own pace so it’s not that bad and the caves are worth it. At the end of the caves you catch a lift to the top and the last 47 steps to the lift are the worse. All said it’s a must whilst here. Piran is a quaint little fishing village with a beautiful harbour the walk along the sea front to the lighthouse is lovely with plenty of bars and restaurants along the way. There is a beautiful big square where again it’s full of restaurants where you can also get a beer. We went on a weekend and the traffic getting out of piran was terrible as you have tourist aswell as locals going for the day so if you get the choice go on a weekday.
