Comprehensive day tour - A very comprehensive tour of lake Bled, and Bled Castle. A must see in Slovenia! Our guide/driver, Ivan is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions about the history and the sites.

Comprehensive day trip - Ivan our guide/driver is very knowledgeable on the history of Slovenia and the places we visited. Everything was explained to us thoroughly and patiently waited for us until we have explored all the sites we visited.

An exceptional guide - Our guide Borut was one of the best guides in all my years of travelling - he was very knowledgeable and we learnt much from him about Slovenian history (in addition to the places of interest), friendly, patient and super passionate about what he does!

La pura visa- the way of life with T - This is for the productive and quick on your feet traveler who wants to do both Bled and Postojna caves and castles. Our tour guide Tai as her nickname goes she was able to cater to a predominantly Spanish speak group of 7 and I was able to practice my Spanish from all over: Spain, Chile, Colombia. Kudos to T and keep up the fantastic work!

Highlights of Slovenia - The castle was an unexpected highlight. The caves and Lake Bled were something I was also excited to see. We were fortunate to have good weather, and went out to the castle on Lake Bled by boat. Fabulous views, and enough time to sample the famous Bled Cream Cake - delicious! Ferris was a great guide, and gave us plenty of information to enjoy all of our experiences. He even guided me to the best place to sample the Bled Cream Cake.

Great tour with wonderful guide - We booked this tour and Exploring Slovenia ended up being the company who took us on tour. Unfortunately the weather was a stormy rainy day that hindered certain aspects of the tour but our tour guide, Ingrid, did an amazing job ensuring we enjoyed the day. The caves and castle were outstanding and we made it to Lake Bled but the conditions hindered us getting to the island. Irrespective it was a great day

Great value for money and a lot of fun - The guide was amazing, he provided a lot of useful information regarding the places we were visiting and also gave us a variety of options we could do in the afternoon.

See alot of Slovenia in one trip! - This was a great way to see a lot of sights and scenery outside of Ljubljana. I was only in Ljubljana for 3 nights so this tour meant I got to cover a lot in one day. We started with Predjama Castle and it's a beautiful structure built in to the side of a mountain. Next we went to Postojna Caves which are very impressive. We ended the day at Lake Bled and took the boat trip out to the island in the middle of the lake. We then went to Bled Castle which as breathtaking views over Lake Bled. Bled can be busy in the main summer season so traffic can be busy and can delay your trip a bit but our group were in no rush to get back to Ljubljana so it was fine. If you have limited time and want to see more of Slovenia I would recommend this tour.

A bit disappointing - We were joined to an half day tour, so we were 2 groups, our tour guide had to drop them back in town in order to continue with us for a full day, inconvenient! And because of that afternoon bad weather ruin our Bled experience. If we did not have the other group with us , we could see lake bled in the morning without rain , bad planning that was probably needed to accommodate 2 groups… disappointing. Other then this, tour guide had great personality and knowledge, we liked him.

Awful! - I would not recommend that anyone uses Roundabout Travel. We were put on a tour with a different company and charged extra for entrance to the caves and castle. Our pick up time and location were both changed with less than 24 hours notice and it completely spoiled the experience for us. The company have not made any apology or accepted responsibility for their actions and I would strongly warn anyone against using them. I would use To Do in Slovenia over Roundabout Travel.
