People of Livorno - Beautiful walking tour of a city to discover and with unique views. The guide, or rather, the guides, are enthusiastic and passionate people about their city and its history. To be recommended

Livorno city to discover - Today we visited the city of Livorno together with Claudia guides who since yesterday, via chat showed us what to see, where to eat and what means to take, and Patrizia, who took us for a walk through the city describing places of interest and telling us the story.
Together they gave us the opportunity to see and admire the wonders of the city center including the Duomo with the Fra Angelico, Borgo Venezia gli Scali up to the Sanctuary of Montenero and its breathtaking panorama.
They were instrumental in learning the history of the City and understanding its hospitable and surprising character just like them.
Claudia and Patrizia certainly love their work and the city and are a guarantee to visit it and enjoy all its beauty.
Cost of the guide more than fair for how much passion they put into the visit.
Super recommended the tour with them.

Livorno local volunteers tour - Claudia and her association volunteers were a really kind help in visiting Livorno. They offered us different options and let us choose what to do and to see while in Livorno. We loved this indipendent attitude and their enthusiasm regarding their hometown. We had a taste of yummy treats as 'frate' (=light doughnut) and '5&5' (=vegan checkpea flour flan in a bun) and visited the panoramic Terrazza Mascagni on the seaside promenade and the old Little Venice, charming district built on canals with lots of nice fish restaurants. Pity we could not make it to taste 'Cacciucco' fish soup!

Explore Livorno's Culture - Douglas, a native-born Californian, and Claudia, a native of Livorno were the best guides I could have hoped for. We explored the Fortezza Vecchia (old fortress) which was much bigger with more levels than I was aware of and absolutely beautiful. Although this is NOT a food tour (it is a cultural tour): we enjoyed a delicious snack of torta di ceci which is a local dish made from chickpea flour. We also explored the Mercato Centrale market and took a bus to the seafront. I learned how to navigate public transportation which really opened up my options while visiting this beautiful seaport town. Based on my interests, they recommend the Giovanni Fattori museum which I visited the following day, and it did not disappoint! Throughout, there were tidbits and stories that wove a rich cultural tapestry that is Livorno, Italy. I highly recommend this tour. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Walk and Learn in Livorno - If you’re looking for a great walking tour of Livorno, this is your tour company. We learned about Livorno’s history, culture and traditions in an informative three-hour walk. We liked the small group size, the informal structure and unhurried pace. We loved seeing all the murals. If you’re here on a cruise stop, and don’t feel like a long bus ride to Florence, explore Livorno with Siamo Livornesi.

Avoid this tour. - Claudia was communicative through the process and met us on time. She had another person come along "Sam" who was to be her translator, as we requested an English tour. Sam was a younger (early 20's) guy, and was a few mins late. While Claudia was well dressed, Sam appears as if he just crawled out of bed. It was also very obvious he was sick and wiping his constantly running nose. His translating skills were terrible as well. Fortunately, we had one person in our group that spoke Italian and could translate Claudia's narrative for us. Sam was useless, and although we tried making conversation with him, he was disinterested and spent all of his time on his phone. At one point since he was so obviously sick, and we were on holiday, we told Claudia she could send him home. She told us he said he wanted to say. (obviously to get paid). As luck would have it, two of us had cold symptoms the following day as well, thanks to Sam.
Claudia's narration was very informative, and she was pleasant to be with, but Sam ruined the experience for us. I messaged Claudia privately with my concerns following the trip, but did not receive a response. I was hoping to avoid this negative review with some type of response or concern from Claudia, but since it didnt come, here we are.
Livorno was the least favorite City in this Tuscany vacation. Maybe a better tour experience would have made it different for us.
I do not recommend this tour.

Very bad - livorno. I write the name of the tiny town because it doesn't deserve more. On the morning of January 6, 2025, Epiphany, dozens of cars were fined in the streets around the Church of Our Lady for not parking, cars that did not hinder traffic and did not create any problems, which every Sunday are there 'in conjunction with the Holy Mass at 11.00. Question: a year is made up of 52 Sundays and other holidays, was it necessary to wait until the morning of the Epiphany to make the fines, when the children are to collect the "stockings"?
Desire: I hope that the money from the fines will be used by the mayor and the commander of the brigade (always all tiny) to buy medicines for bellyaches!!! instead of squandering it on the various city parties made with the sole purpose of collecting votes, and at the expense of dilapidated sidewalks, dirt everywhere, intrusive weeds in the center, poor public service, etc., etc.
