Lifelong memories you don’t want to miss! - As it was our first time rafting we didn’t really know what to expect, but we were blown away by the incredible views of the gorge and the kindness and capability of Stanley and the rest of the team. We were in very good hands, even as complete beginners. The homemade samosas we received for lunch after the hike back up were a 10/10! Overall, a great experience that I would definitely recommend!

Great experience, well-organized and beautiful scenery! - We had a great time today with Stan the man and the other guys rafting down the Zambezi river! It was beautiful and memorable, and we all had a fantastic time!

Whitewater rafting on the... - Whitewater rafting on the Zambezi was one of the highlights of our trip and we would 100% recommend doing it with Maano! Our guides, Andrew and Abraham (as well as others I can't remember the name of, sorry!) were super experienced and so we felt safe at all times, whilst also being friendly and hilarious and making us laugh all day. They also offer the photos and videos for free unlike other companies which is a great bonus! Just a note, this company are based in Zambia, and so I'd recommend a Kaza visa if you're eligible, as it means you can cross between Zambia and Zimbabwe with no restrictions.

Zambezi rafting - This was my first rafting experience, and thanks to the amazing guides (shoutout to Stan the Man) I had loads of fun! Also, the experienced staff ensured our safety in each step of the rafting activity. If you want to experience Zambia/Zimbabwe in an adventurous way, Maano adventures are the people you need! 5 star experience

Amazing white water rafting - An amazing experience with Maano adventures. Our guide stan the man was THE MAN!! The whole trip was seamless , pick up at hotel, drive to rapids, hike down and off you go. I am coming back thank you gentleman for a great day!! Eric Sinnett

Absolutely breathtaking... - Absolutely breathtaking experience. Staff are very friendly and professional, beautiful scenery. Make sure to pack water wicking clothes. Rapids are extremely fun and make for a good cooling off. I cannot recommend this experience anymore, and it is something you will remember for the rest of your days.

Great day on the water, but don't expect to get get any photos or video! - I had previously written a very positive review of my whitewater rafting experience with Maano Adventures. However, that was before the operator (Maano Adventures) reneged on providing photos/videos which were advertised as being included with the rafting adventure (per details which appear in the Trip Adviser description for this activity). Despite numerous attempts at communicating with the operator for nearly two weeks, still no word back from them on why the pictures were never provided. Extremely disappointed with Maano Adventures about this outcome, especially after they provided such a nice experience on the Zambezi river for my wife and I.

Would Not Recommend — Charged Unfairly & Then Insulted - I’m extremely disappointed — though sadly not surprised — by your public response to our other reviews, which is not only unprofessional but also filled with false claims. To clarify again: we were charged $80 USD for photos and videos, which you initially stated were included in the package. We chased multiple times for them to be sent, and only after repeated messages did you respond. You then personally acknowledged via WhatsApp that you thought the refund had been sent and that you would check with your accountant (see attached screenshot). What’s worse is that in a separate email to my partner’s father, Pete, you directly apologised, admitted the charge was made, acknowledged the team acted unprofessionally by soliciting tips, and stated you were “on your knees” asking for forgiveness while looking into ways to refund us. That email clearly contradicts your public denial — and again, I have attached this message as further proof. To now claim publicly that we are lying, calling us “scammers” and denying any charge was made is not only dishonest but defamatory. It’s extremely concerning that a business owner would resort to insults and falsehoods when faced with a completely valid complaint. It’s unfortunate that such a beautiful location and experience was ruined by unethical handling and a lack of accountability. I stand firmly by my original review and will continue to share our experience honestly to help protect other travelers. Screenshots of all communications — including WhatsApp and the owner’s email to my partner’s father — have been submitted to TripAdvisor for verification.
