Great adventure!! Devils pool - Great adventure!! Definitely worth it. It is a bit of craziness getting through the border from Zim to Zam but worth it in the end! All of the different guides and drivers take care of you and the food provided is excellent.

Experience of a life time - After arriving at the information centre, we were taken by jet boat to Livingstone Island. Here, we saw the sheer grandeur of the falls before proceeding to the pool. We were guided every second, every step of the way to the pool. After entering, we were warned of some small fish that may nibble on us and told not to panic. The two guides encouraged us to sit upon the rock ledge as well as pose, while one took the pictures and the other holder our legs. The rush over the falls near the Devil’s Pool was calm. After our experience, we were guided back for break mid on the island. The meals were light, but extra tasty. While being fared back to the information centre, we saw some more animals relaxing in the water. It was a fantastic experience.

Beautiful place, beautiful people. - Beautiful country, beautiful people. I went with my elderly parents. They were looked after everywhere. The people have care, from the hotel to the activities people. I really enjoyed every moment. I will return during the high water season to fully experience the falls. But I enjoyed every activity - helicopter ride, cruising the Zambezi. It was all beautiful.

A MUST DO!! - My wife and I loved it and we are in our mid 60s and live in the US. If I could give this an extra credit star, I would. Exhilarating, enjoyable and entertaining! Sitting on the edge of the falls with a beautiful rainbow below us was an insane feeling. Not sure what the person was talking about that left a bad review about having to be a good swimmer. My wife is a poor swimmer and there was no issue with her getting to the edge of Devil’s Pool or back from it. Not that it was easy, but you walk most of it. On the way to the Pool, there is a rope that you hold onto for most of the way. You do have to be wary of the mossy rocks under water. Once in the Pool, you walk and when you are not walking you are able to hold onto rocks as you make your way to the edge! Onto the guides: they were helpful, knowledgeable and observant. On the short boat ride to Livingstone Island, the driver-guide knew exactly where the rocks were just under the surface of the water and he navigated the Zambezi River easily. We saw elephants, zebras and hippos on the drives to and from the island which was an added treat. At Devil’s Pool the guides assisted those who were having a harder time by lending a hand or ushering them through a less dangerous, though slightly longer, route. Also at the Pool, they kept an eye on everyone and immediately raced in whenever any of the patrons looked like they may need assistance. We were on the 9:00 AM tour so after being in the Pool, we were led back to Livingstone’s island where we were given a wonderful meal. Communication could be better with the tour company, but this was the best tour that I’ve ever been on. All in all, to those of you who are contemplating this tour: - if you are being picked up in Zimbabwe, you will need to bring your passport. - If you are being picked up in Zambia, you will not need to bring your passport. - Be aware that you will probably be picked up earlier than the time noted on the site. Our tour started at 9, but the bus picked us up at 8. - This is not the US, so a lot of the safety measures that are in place in the states, due to Americans and their lawyers, are not there. Common sense will dictate what you should do. If you have an issue with that, don’t book the tour. - There is a charge for being picked up and dropped off. If the transportation is not noted in the “included list” on the web page, don’t complain when you have to pay.

Amazing experience! - This is a must do experience for the sheer thrill alone! Note: It is only possible during low water in the dry season and you must be a competent swimmer. Lying prone with your head over the edge of the falls with the water crashing down is both scary and exhilarating! A once in a lifetime experience!!

Best part of my trip to zambia - Amazing tour the swim over zambezi was easy, they made sure we were safe at all times. the tour guide did an amazing job taking pictures in pool. They kept all our phones in a waterproof bag so didn’t have to worry about that. Provided towels and a great breakfast. So glad i did it

Great tour but needs work on punctuality - The actual experience was honestly unforgettable and amazing but the customer service gave less to be desired. I hadchosen a 7:30am time slot so id know i would have enough time to get back for my airport transfer. The guy picking me up first told me 6:30 so i got up at 6then 7:30 which then i was annoyed moreso cuz i could have slept inbut then it took him until about 8:30 to get there.by the time we got to the tour i was experiencing anxiety about missing my airport transfer. Luckily the tour is only about an hour and a half and i got back by before 1 which my transfer was 1:30pm but i booked it that early to avoid that anxiety in the first place! It seemed like they just lunped all the people doing it into one transfer and the other people booked it at 9am. As i said i had a great time at the tour and im glad i got back in time but i rated it 3 stars for lack of punctuality.

Bait and switch - The ad and the wording lead us to believe that you jump into the pool. Found out from the guide that they stopped doing that 10 years ago. Time to update your website. You walk and crab walk out to the falls. Then you slide on your stomach to the edge. While you are waiting your turn, you are fish food for fairly large fish. The description and the picture on your site made this experience for my entire family.

BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT TRUST THIS TOUR COMPANY - DO NOT BOOK THIS! My wife and I were picked up in Victoria Falls and driven North ro an unknown location in Zimbabwe on the river. The driver acted like.he did not know what was going on I checked my map on the cell and saw we were driving away from the Zambia boarder - very concerning and scary for my wife- we were handed off to a tour with no explanation- when asked what was going on I was assured all was fine- the tour company passed us off to some other tour without our permission nor knowledge- we were STUCK and trapped. I had paid the $20/pp US for transport and acquired the proper muti entry Visa for Zimbabwe to Zambia for $100 US - NEVER USED IT. When we got into the boat for the tour I questioned the guide and through several questions they finally told me that we were not going to Devils Pool on the Zambia side but to Devils Cataract on the Zimbabwe side- I was very MAD I was deceived and ripped off. Traveled all this way - booked well in advance to have the tour company just deceive me and scare my wife! BUYER BEWARE! Now I'm out $100 Visa expenses and the $40 transfer fee not to mention my wife and I will probably never get to experience Devils Pool - this really SUCKS!
