Back to visit family and... - Back to visit family and had heard about this tour and decided to book for my mum & myself. Met our guide Paul at St Michael’s station as planned and started a wonderful walk around the area with our host telling us stories and giving us some interesting facts about a lot of interesting characters whom had lived or where connected to the area. Two hours flew by we got to find out so much about what had happened around this lovely part of the city. SeftonPark and LarkLane will never quite be the same again 😄 Thanks for the boss tour 🙏

Marvellous Musical Mission - Loved our music tour in and around Sevvy Park. Paul is a wealth of musical info, learned some really interesting stuff about the goings on over the decades around the park. From the Beatles to the Bunnymen & lots in between. Was intrigued to learn all about Bono visiting the area several years ago with Sir Paul. He’s a bad grass, that Bono, you know. Highly recommended if you want a proper insight into the musical history of Liverpool and loads of other fascinating stuff like suffragettes trying to blow up the Palm House! A pint down ‘The Lane’ to round off a perfect evening. Lovely.

This was a great tour,... - This was a great tour, led by Paul, who has a firsthand knowledge of local music and Sefton park. It was an enjoyable day and Paul shared a lot of stories of the park and local musicians, some of whom became internationally known eventually. It was a fun way to spend the morning.

Great fun, interesting walk around a very special area - Paul our tour guide is a wealth of knowledge and information on the local area and is on the look out all the time for more stories. He is extremely engaging and very entertaining. This is my favorite part of Liverpool, and I lived in and around the area for several years before I left the country almost 30 years ago. Despite being very familiar with the area, I still learnt a lot. I heard tales and facts about characters I had never heard of before and saw places and heard stories of places I had walked past without noticing before. The walks itself is an easy two hour stroll around a really lovely area of the city. It would be of huge interest for fans of the Eric’s era and beyond. That said I would highly recommend it for anyone that wants a pleasant easy walk around a lovely area, a good laugh and a very light hearted history lesson.

Learned so much about Liverpool's music scene and it was great fun - First of all, our guide Paul is a mine of information and knows so much about the musicians and artists of Liverpool, and he clearly loves telling you about it. The stories go back to the 1900s right up to today and cover all your favourite scouse acts and many lesser known bands and artists, too. Taking in the beautiful neighbourhoods and the park itself, Paul tells stories that are funny, exciting, and quite often incredibly surprising. Highlights include the folk music scene of St Michael's, The Bunnymen house, Sefton Park Lake, Palm House and Bandstand, and Lark Lane. Aside from the music, this two hour walk reveals a side of the city you don't see on more obvious city based tours, and it doesn't just focus on The Beatles. I learned so much, had great fun, and would defo recommend this tour to anyone who loves Liverpool music and this part of the city. Especially recommend this to fans of the post punk scene (Bunnymen, Teardrop Explodes, Pale Fountains etc, but also more mainstream stuff like Beatles, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and even Atomic Kitten!) Excellent
