Bus tours made easy, informative and funny! - We decided to join the city explorer on a whim and ended up being very thankful for this decision! The guides were very informative, each with their own facts and trivia about individual buildings and areas. It was very easy to hop on and off the service, and it arrived exactly on time every time. Would absolutely recommend!

Outstanding Experience - Wow, had the privilege of doing the City Tour yesterday with my wife and some friends. Liverpool is a beautiful and interesting city but the tour was wonderfully enhanced by the tour guide whose local knowledge, great sense of humour and engaging personality made the experience so outstanding and one not to be missed. Has my strongest recommendation. Thank you

Sightseeing with live commentary - I'm actually not a great friend, the hop-on hop-off buses that you take place in almost everyone. But I was positively surprised by this provider in Liverpool. I had chosen a combo ticket with a ferry ride on the Mercy River and a 24-hour ticket for the bus. The bus ride passes the main sights of Liverpool and is accompanied by an excellent live commentary. Our guide was Paddy, who was easy to understand despite a strong Scouse accent and made the tour very entertaining. for a complete round without a exit it takes up to about 50 minutes. Clear recommendation.

We loved it, yeah, yeah, yeah!!! - It was a rainy bank holiday in Liverpool and we all like The Beatles, so we booked the tour. Chris was our guide (How lucky were we!) and John was our driver. Such a positive pair, but it was Chris's extraordinary knowledge and enthusiasm that made the tour. Our ages ranged from 20-63 but we all agreed it was an awesome outing! The 20 year old had just flown in from Australia 🇦🇺 and we were wondering how to entertain him. You made our day Chris!

Fantastic trip and fun. - While we visited Liverpool recently, we decided to book a dual trip (City Tours / Beatles Tour) with City Explorer Tours. All the staff were very informative about timings and trips and when we boarded Wayne was the driver and CODY was our on board tour guide. He was really good fun and kept us informed and entertained throughout the trip. The City Tour ticket includes hop on - hop off for 2 days, allowing the customers to visit various landmarks around the city and get back on the bus again to continue around on the journey. I highly recommend taking this trip and experiencing the city. ALL the staff, both on the City and Beatles tours are very funny and detailed.

Brilliant bus tour - This iscthe second time we have taken The tour and this time we used the hop on & off Particularly like that these tours have a live guide rather than prerecording The delivery anecdotes and informative tips add to the experience Gary L was out guide - a wealth of information tips snd humour Fantastic Alec the driver was also very friendly and helpful- gave recommendations if what to look for when we disembarked at stops - this added to the experience Thank you Gary L and Alec - great team Would highly recommend Great way to see the City plus the tickets are valid for 3 days

Good but depends on the guide. One brilliant ...one terrible !... - Really good tour but of course it depends on the guide. We were on the bus a few times during the day and had 3 separate guides which was great. They all follow a script but bring their own quirks and energy to the journey. 2 guides were really great, a special shout out to Paddy.. but one lady guide who will remain unnamed was so bored and boring, it was hard work for her and us to listen. She goes through the motions and quite obviously has been doing the job too long. She was also the only one that I heard asking for a tip but we weren't on the bus with the other 2 guides for the last stop. Without being unkind, my tip for her would be to have a bit more passion and pride in her city. If you have the time... definitely buy the combined ticket with the ferry cruise. Good value and gives the option to ride the bus for 2 days.
