Great way to see the city - A great way to see the city on the hop on hop of system the operate you never away from the next bus picking you up if you stop to visit a landmark a very cost effective way of getting around The bus that has a running cometary was out of sync sometimes and not as enjoyable as the live commentary would definitely do it again £12 for over sixty’s paid a tenner to go 1.1 mile in a cab the ticket lasts 24 hours from purchase A shout out to paddy a fun interactive guy hard of to him and a pat on the back a great ambassador for the company ( Aylesbury on sea ) he knows who we are Don’t hesitate give it a go you won’t regret it

Beatles tour on hop-on hop-off bus. - We did the Beatles tour on the hop-on hop-off red (open top deck) double decker bus with Damion (guide) and Joe (driver) and it was a superb experience because of Damion and Joe. Damion regaled us with stories behind the favourite Beatles songs like Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields and he also entertained us with his singing (and playing his guitar) all the Beatles songs we knew. He encouraged us to sing along too and soon there was a red double decker bus rolling along the London streets with rollicking voices coming loudly from it. Damion was an impressive guide who really made this tour special for us. Nothing was too hard for Joe. He slowed down so we could peer at John’s and Paul’s boyhood homes. He stopped at the famous Penny Lane and made sure he took pictures for everyone who wanted to be photographed on this crossing. He also drove us to “Strawberry Fields” which is now a small garden for more pictures at this iconic site. Liverpool shone for us that day. Its impressive waterfront with many historic sites - all within walking distance of the port, was an absolute joy. And, we had to take pictures of the statues dedicated to the famous Liverpool “sons” - the Beatles and Billy Fury, at the waterfront. It was a memorable day for us - without a doubt, and Damion and Joe made it for us. Thank you gentlemen for a marvellous experience in Liverpool city.

Amazing tour of Liverpool - Paddy was our guide and Peter was our driver, they both delivered an amazing trip and really knew the history of the city and pointed out very interesting facts, it was great to take this one before the Beatles one so you could get your bearings, they also told you about discounts along the way with your tickets

Short but good - We came into Liverpool on a cruise ship. We wanted to take the hop on hop off bus and there was a desk in the cruise terminal as we got off the ship. I don’t think the two young men that were at the desk were ready for passengers when we got off the boat a little bit after 8 AM. This is probably rather petty, but the one young man had a red hop on hop off jacket .The other young man arrived in some kind of T-shirt that look like it seen better days, he did have a name tag, but he needed to shave and comb his hair. Not a good representation of the company if you ask me. Also, they did not have maps, which wasn’t good as we were wondering where the bus went. Also, their directions where to catch the first bus were most inadequate and we had to ask several people before we found the first stop. Putting that aside, the tour around Liverpool was good. You passed lots of very interesting looking old buildings, cathedrals, churches. The running narrative is very good also. If you have come to Liverpool for the first time, I would recommend it as it does get you around town to see the important sites. We added going down the river to our ticket and that was most enjoyable. The ferry was crowded, but we lucked out as it was a sunny day and sitting outside was just fine. All in all, I would recommend the Liverpool hop on hop off bus.

Outstanding staff members! We had lots of last minute requests and all the team was understanding, accommodating and patient wit - Our driver Joe was super friendly and helped us in the best way, smooth driving and very gentle. Chris, our guide, was excellent, helpful, caring, entertaining & motivated to engage with everyone. We loved the live music bits and all the interesting knowledge and jokes he shared with us. I'm not giving 5 stars because we thought the recorded audio guide comments on the line within the city centre were very poor. Very short and basic information. There was a lot more moments of silence and background music than information. We went pass grand avenues, dozens of historical buildings and landmarks and no comments or information was shared in the recording.

Dont do it if you’re easily offended about where we live - Very good tour, except the guide kept talking bad about the wirral which we are from. My little boy was upset about this! They need to not talk bad about areas people live in.
