I could gladly have spent five hours in this museum! - This was an exceptional museum, owned by the brother of Pete Best, the original drummer of the band that became the Beatles. It was created in part to the commemorate the role the brothers’ mother, Mona, played in launching the band through her club, the Kasbah, a club that was as seminal in their story as the Cavern Club. Inevitably, quite a bit of the first floor of this three-floor museum is a reflection on the career Pete Best could have had if he had not been replaced by Ringo. The other two floors tell the story “sans rancune” of the band’s subsequent meteoric global rise and eventual dissolution. The exhibition ends with a copy of a long deposition by Paul McCartney asking the Court for the partnership to be dissolved. The exhibits on the three floors are fascinating - the Best family has assembled an amazing archive, which we could have spent more than the recommended 1 - 3 hours looking at - I could gladly have spent five hours there! For visitors with less time I strongly advise getting an audio-guide. It cost just £1 and by pointing the handset at the 25-26 information points you get a very useful summary of the most important memorabilia in each section.

Brilliant! - Lovely museum dedicated to the Fab Four. Loads of interesting items to be seen John Lennons glasses to Beatles toys. Sent over several floors it’s well spread out. Nice to see Pete Best photos and items there - it is owned I believe by Pete. Definitely a must for a Beatles fan

Great memories of the Beatles - Great museum and so many items to view . They have done an excellent job on using 3 floors of the building to break it down to the eras of The Beatles. This brought back great memories as I was 10 years old when they first came to the US and surely remember the first performance on the Ed Sullivan show. My only complaint would be is that it gets a bit crowded at times but they have condensed so much information into the space. I highly recommend it for anyone who is a big Beatles and those that might not be as such. Was very nostalgic for me.

Great experience! - It was great to visit the museum and learn a lot more about The Beatles. They have a lot of items and photos and their history is well told and split by years and floors in the museum. It’s really worth a visit! I do recommend it when visiting Liverpool.

Beattles Museum - Very informative. I would do this again. Not for anyone with mobility issues as the museum requires you to climb several steps.
