Highlights

Livadia - Located on the western edge of the Kopaida valley, Livadia is traversed by the Erkyna river. Its charming neighborhoods and historic houses are captivating, and the stone bridges at the Krya springs offer a beautiful natural setting with evergreen plane trees, natural waterfalls, and windmills. Visitors can explore the Byzantine Castle, the Oracle (an underground stone structure), the stone Theatre, and the Clock. The town is also known for its traditional souvlaki, which you can enjoy for a quick meal, or you can explore the town and relax at a café.

Monastery of Hosios Loukas - Situated near the town of Distomo in Boeotia, Greece, the historic walled Monastery of Hosios Loukas was founded in the mid-10th century. It is one of the most significant monuments of Middle Byzantine architecture and art and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990, along with the monasteries of Nea Moni and Daphnion. Located on the scenic slopes of Mount Helicon, the monastery was established by the hermit Venerable Luke of Steiris, whose relics are still kept there.

Delphi Archaeological Museum - One of Greece’s most important museums, the Archaeological Museum of Delphi showcases the history of the renowned Delphic sanctuary and the most famous oracle of the ancient Greek world. Its extensive collections mainly feature architectural sculptures, statues, and intricate artworks dedicated by the faithful to the sanctuary. These artifacts reflect the religious, political, and artistic activities of the sanctuary from its foundation in the 8th century BC until its decline in late antiquity.

Temple of Apollo - The visible ruins of the Temple of Apollo date back to the fourth century BC and represent a peripteral Doric structure. Built by Spintharus, Xenodoros, and Agathon, it stands on the remains of an earlier sixth-century BC temple, which itself was constructed on the site of a seventh-century BC building attributed in legend to the architects Trophonios and Agamedes.

The Tholos of Delphi - The tholos at the sanctuary of Athena Pronaea is a circular building constructed between 380 and 360 BC. It featured 20 Doric columns with an exterior diameter of 14.76 meters and 10 Corinthian columns inside. Located about half a mile from the main ruins at Delphi, three of the Doric columns have been restored, making it a popular spot for tourist photographs.

Ancient Theatre - Situated further up the hill from the Temple of Apollo, the ancient theatre at Delphi offers spectators a view of the entire sanctuary and the valley below. Originally built in the fourth century BC, it underwent several renovations, notably in 160/159 BC funded by King Eumenes II of Pergamon and in 67 AD during Emperor Nero’s visit.

Ancient Stadium of Delphi - Positioned at the highest point of the Archaeological Site of Delphi, the Stadium of Delphi overlooks the sanctuary of Apollo and offers views of the Delphic landscape. Constructed in the latter half of the 4th century BC or possibly after the Galatian attacks, the stadium measures 178 meters in length and has undergone several refurbishments. It is the best-preserved ancient stadium in Greece.

Arachova - Nestled at the foot of Mt. Parnassos in Viotia, Southern Greece, Arachova is a picturesque mountainous village. It is Greece’s most cosmopolitan winter destination, popular among ski enthusiasts, celebrities, and first-time visitors seeking a dreamy mountainous setting with modern tourism facilities. Its modern ski resort, proximity to Athens, and stunning mountainous landscape are major attractions. Arachova is also known for its vibrant nightlife and is a favorite mountain resort for Athenians.

Delphi - Located at the foot of Parnassos, in a dramatic natural landscape between the Phaedriades rocks, Delphi was the pan-Hellenic sanctuary and the most famous oracle of ancient Greece. According to mythology, Delphi was the navel of the earth, where Zeus’s eagles met to find the center of the world. For many centuries, it was the spiritual and religious center and a symbol of unity for ancient Hellenism. In 1987, Delphi was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today, Delphi is both a municipality and a modern town adjacent to the ancient site, which was excavated after relocating buildings from the sacred precinct. Visitors can explore the town and enjoy a meal.

Was a fun positive experience - Konstantinos was a wonderful driver! He was patient and answered all of our questions. He was knowledgeable about all things Greece. The Mercedes Benz was comfortable. We got to stop at several locations and get out to walk around for a bit which was nice. Our tour started early in the morning, but Konstantinos met us with a smile and a hearty "Kalimmera!" He stopped and got us coffee and cheese pie for breakfast which was amazing! Konstantinos and my husband spoke about many subjects on our tour. He was open and happy to share a typical "day in the life of" story. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better driver. I would give him a 10 star review!

Beautiful and wonderful experience. - This was an amazing and unique experience for me and my family. We had a great time. The private guide and driver (Andreas) was excellent and friendly. He also explained parts of the land and pointed out what they mean and what had happened in Greece recently (the fire) this was great to see first hand and to have Andreas as a private guide and driver was wonderful. We would no doubt recommend Andreas to our friends and family or if we came back to Greece again. Keep up the lovely work everyone :)

Safe and luxurious!!! - Luxury transportation, friendly and attentive driver, comfortable and cleaned cabin. The trip was perfectly organized and the places we visited were fantastic. We really liked it and we already make a reservation for south Peloponnese in few day!!! Last but not least because of the covid-19 situation in cabin there was antibacterial gel and masks if you lost yours.
