If you are coming from Lisbon, head to Cais do Sodré and take a beautiful train ride along the ocean. we decide were the waves are better only one or two before(when we can see the forecast): if Guincho beach,exit in Cascais, uber or bus to guincho if Carcavelos beach,exit at carcavelos station.

Super professional team - We are a couple and wanted to try out for the first time a surf lesson. We contacted Andre whom is super responsive and was able to book us a private lesson with Afonso. We liked so much our first lesson that we came back the following day for another lesson. Afonso is super good and patient. After the second lesson I looked at other instructors on the beach and I must say that there is a big difference in the quality of advices and way of teaching that Afonso applied with us compared to others. I used to be a swimming teacher and I can spot a good instructor and a bad one, so I must say that the team at Salty Souls is miles ahead. For example the technique for getting up on the board was way better explained by Afonso, compared to what others were teaching on the beach. Also I recommend private lessons as progress is faster. After 2 lessons I can now catch waves on my own and will start getting my own board to practice more. Looking forward to come back.

Amazing experience - It was an amazing experience. Instructors are very patient and knowledgeable and they always cheer you up and give you helpful advices. I would definitely recommend everyone who wants to learn surfing, to come to them!

Just do it! - Realy good experience. The surf teacher gave us good safety instructions, warm up and some dry training, before the real deal in the ocean. In the ocean he helped us with everything to make this a 5-star experience. I'm a surfer boy now😉

Best teachers - Gustavo was amazing with my neurodivergent 9 year old and my 78 year old father, both new to surfing. My kid was standing up on the board and doing 180 jumps by the end of the first lesson while my dad stayed on his hands and knees, but both had a blast and unlocked a new passion for surfing. We can’t thank him enough. I also watched the other Salty Souls teachers and everyone has a great vibe. Def recommend this school.

Amazing surf school - Amazing surf experience for my son and I. It was my first time doing a surf lesson and absolutely loved it. My son did 3 surf lessons with Salty Souls and had an absolute ball. Andre and his team are extremely professional and very patient. The communication and information from Andre is seamless from the moment you book a lesson.
