If you are coming from Lisbon, head to Cais do Sodré and take a beautiful train ride along the ocean. we decide were the waves are better only one or two before(when we can see the forecast): if Guincho beach,exit in Cascais, uber or bus to guincho if Carcavelos beach,exit at carcavelos station.

Most fun surf classes in Cascais! - My friend and I followed a surf class at Salty Souls Cascais and we had so much fun! Andre and Gustavo are truly amazing instructors and even took one of us further out since they saw we wanted to be challenged more- they catered to different surfing levels. We had a blast the first day so we booked again for the next day! On top of that they gave us some really nice local recommendations for surfing, food & drinks. You don't want to miss out on this one!

highly recommend, super fun - Super fun!! They take care of everything for you — the board, wetsuit, and will keep your belongings for you while you're surfing. Very helpful and educational for a first-time surfer, but will meet you at your level if you're more advanced. Highly recommend :)

Great lesson during a rough weather day! - We were worried about our surf lesson when we got a weather alert for our date. While conditions weren’t ideal, it was the only day that worked with our itinerary and Salty Souls worked with us to find a safe time and location for our family’s first surf lesson. João was fun and informative, and he kept our teens engaged and encouraged throughout the entire lesson. We all had a blast and would definitely book again!

Highly Recommended! - My son and I were beginner plus - intermediate surfers looking for some fun surf that would challenge us during a family trip to Cascais. Andre and his team more than delivered. We had a great experience. Gustavo was fun and knowledgeable. He found a spot for us that was amazing (beautiful waves right next to a castle). Gustavo provided high quality surf gear that met our needs and provided great instruction. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing surf experience in Portugal.

My first surfing experience - An unforgettable experience! This was my very first time trying surfing, and I discovered that it’s a sport I’m really passionate about and want to continue. Gustavo is an amazing instructor—super skilled, always smiling, patient, motivating, and did I mention smiling? 😄 I highly recommend giving this experience and this school a try. The organizers are super responsive to any questions and very flexible. Definitely a must-try!!

Awesome private surfing lessons - First of all, I needed private lessons to effectively learn the practices and theory of surfing. I had some previous experience, but I was missing something. I got help and answers for all this from Gus from Salty Soul. I really thank him. He organized an unforgettable Christmas surfing trip for two days, and took me to real waves. I gained confidence and experience from his teaching. My best surfing experience. Gus was a great guy, I was informed via WhatsApp, which was easy. You couldn't miss anything. I can only warmly recommend Salty Soul and Gus to those of you who want to learn more.
