Evora - Loved the tour. Rodrigo was great!! Loved the Chapel of Bones and the Roman ruins. Lunch was awesome in Monsarez with a fabulous view. Highly recommend.

Amazing day trip to Evora and Monsaraz - Our tour guide was fantastic and the tour was amazing. The view and the food in Monsaraz were both breathtaking. This was the highlight of our visit to Portugal.

Everything we hoped for - An absolutely wonderful trip. We traveled by small van, with a very small group. Our guide/driver was terrific to spend the day with, and extremely knowledgeable. The trip was exactly what we hoped for, and we had a very memorable experience.

Excellent trip to Évora and medieval village Monsaraz at the Spanish border - The 1-day trip is excellent. Évora is a very beautiful town, including the Chapel of Bones and the (ruins of the) old Roman temple. There are different day-trips to Évora. But this one included Monsaraz, an exceptionally beautiful village at the border to Spain, very picturesque, and with the wine-tasting. The day was very well planned, our guide was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Altogether, a lovely day and definitely recommendable.

Monsaraz is stunning and Évora is charming - We had a wonderful day. Our guide Gonzalez was great. He explained things so well that we really got a lot out of what we were seeing. Evora is a lovely town and the chapel of bones is over the top. We really enjoyed Monsaraz. There were hardly any other tourists there. It is a walled medieval village on top of a hill. The views are outstanding. The drive from Lisbon and back was great. So nice to see the Portuguese countryside. Thanks Gonzalez you really made the trip special

Enlightening, enjoyable experience in Evora and Monsaraz - We had a great day in Evora and Mansaraz. Our tour guide was very friendly and accommodating, providing a lot of guided time with interesting information as well as time to explore the areas on our own. Both Evora and Mansaraz are beautiful old towns, much quieter than Lisbon but full of history and culture. We loved learning about and seeing the influence of Rome and Morocco and the views in Monsaraz were amazing. The bone chapel in Evora is an astonishing place to witness, and the other sites were incredible to experience as well. The wine tasting was near the wineries with informative staff and though we have had more direct winery tours in other places, we both really enjoyed it and left with a few bottles. The whole day was memorable and one of the highlights of our week spent in Lisbon.

Excellent Day in Evora and Reguenos de Monsaraz - Goncalo was professional, welcoming, interesting, knowledgeable and his love of his home country Portugal was evident throughout the day. Good driver. Highly recommend his tours through TugaTours.

Monsaraz was unexpected highlight! - Excursion was a laidback tour of Évora sights followed by stunning 8th century walled city with incredible views!
Free time allowed for lunch and exploring the site followed by local wine tasting.

Unexpected gem - Unexpectedly fantastic day trip out of Lisbon. Monsaraz was a gorgeous gem of a town and the guide was very informative and entertaining.
