Worth the time and effort - Although I was picked up late because of police activity unrelated to my tour, it was a complete day - some 9 hours long. You will never find a more enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide than ours. The megaliths are unfathomable. They are located in the middle of a beautiful farm of beef cattle, black pigs and cork oak trees. The walled city of Evora is charming. The climb up the cathedral is not for the faint of heart but the view is impressive - from the artwork of the three towers to the view of the surroundings.

A broader perspective on Portugal - Diego was an excellent guide (and driver). We learned so much about the countryside, megaliths, and the town of Évora. Our fellow travelers were also delightful. This was a highlight of our visit to Portugal.

Fun day in Evora - Diogo was our guide and he was filled with facts about all of the points of interest! Our day was extremely rainy but he was very safe on the roads, and he adjusted the trip to help us see the outdoor sites when we had a break in the rain. The local roads are not maintained, so be ready for a bumpy ride for 2-3KM on the way to and from the Megalithic structures. No fault of the tour operator, but be aware if you are prone to carsickness. Diogo was great at navigating the area. The Chapel of Bones was a powerful and interesting stop, as were all of the other points of interest. Overall a very good trip!

Fantastic Evora Tour - Evora is a delightful town to visit, in addition we saw megaliths in the vicinity and stopped in Guadeloupe. Our guide Nuno was fantastic, his knowledge of Portugal especially Art, History, Architecture, and Archaeology made his narrative interesting and educational. You will find good food and even visit the quirky Chapel of the bones. Spend time in the plaza and people watch, great fun.

Fantastic investment of our time. Definitely recommended - Great tour! Communication with operator was perfect. We were picked up on time and the drive to the Evora area was fun thanks to our guide-driver, Diego. The spots visited were really interesting: the Almendares archaeological site that at a much smaller scale would rival Stonehenge in beauty. The lovely town of Evora-a must if you visit Portugal most definitely. Fantastic recommendation from our guide on where to eat lunch and last, but not least, the obligatory visit to the ( quite creepy I should add) Chapel of the Bones. A really great day due to our outstanding guide.

Amazingly informative. - We covered a lot of amazing historical sites. The guides were instrumental in a comprehensive understanding of the history and culture. I never would have seen as much or gotten as thorough an understanding of the historical sites without our guides. Well worth the cost.

History from older to old - Our guide Tiago was informative and knowledgable. The itinerary was easy and relaxed. We particularly enjoyed the history behind all of the sites and the Cromeleques were very impressive. Évora has rich history and I would likely go back for another visit and to wander.

Very fun full day tour! - Nuno was an amazing guide. So knowledgeable and flexible during the tour. He shared so much information it was so valuable and he made sure to give us bathroom breaks and advice. The tour was great to the monoliths, evora town for lunch and shopping and the chapel of the bones and church then back. And you get to drive across on the bridges. Great day even with rain at the end!
