Tour of Cascals, Cabo, Sintra and more from Lisbon - Jose Ribeiro, a travel tour guide in Portugal provided an engaging and very informative experience, a personalized itinerary, expert knowledge of local history and culture, and a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. We were in town in Lisbon and did some city tours. I asked him to take us to the coast and advised things i already seen. Jose plan an exceptional trip and went way beyond with personal touches, flexibility and humor. He was recommended by a friend of my is the US. It was the best decision my husband and I made. I highly recommend him for any tours in Portugal, he was the best ever. Marsha

Highly recommend - I would highly recommend this tour. It was great to get out of Lisbon and see a different part of Portugal. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Luis was the best! - Luis was a wonderful guide for my wife and I as we took a half day trip through Cascais, Cabo da Roca, and Sintra. We stopped at a few places to take some scenic photos, and going to the most western point of Europe was such a surreal experience! Sintra was a beautiful town with amazing architecture, and Luis was a great guide to help explain some of the history and context with everywhere we went. 10/10, would recommend Luis and this trip to anyone who is interested!!

Sintra - We had an amazing time with Jose! He is very entertaining and has a wealth of knowledge. His joy for life was obvious and he was an absolute pleasure to have as our guide. Sintra was very beautiful and highly recommend this trip.

Amazing half day Sintra tour - We did the half day private tour with 7 friends and Jose was our guide. The trip was absolutely amazing and he showed us some beautiful hidden gems of Sintra. We went to Quinta de Regaleira, shopping in downtown Sintra, and made multiple beach stops. Jose did an absolutely amazing job of explaining history to the group when we were in the car and also did a great job tailoring the trip for what our group wanted to see/do. I would recommend this highly for anyone who only has a half day to spend in Sintra!

The Best Way for Our Family to See Sintra - This was a wonderful tour. Our guide Jose Ribeiro was brilliant: flexible, cheerful and incredibly knowledgeable about his beloved country, its glorious imperial past, dark republican dictatorship, and modern cosmopolitan democracy. While we signed up for a half day, the tour went several hours over and well beyond Sintra according to priorities our family group set with Jose’s guidance. We saw many things we would never have seen on our own and avoided long lines. The Pena Palace in particular requires guidance to understand its complicated history, symbolism and context. Jose made it sizzle. Highly recommend.

Great customized tour from José! - We got to see “Hell’s Mouth”, Cascais, Peña Palace, historic Sintra and Cabo da Roca. José went above and beyond, giving us extra time to make sure we got the most “complete” day possible out of our half day tour. He gave us wonderful perspectives on history, architecture, symbolism and his own life story which is just as fascinating! Would highly recommend as a small group or as a couple. He truly gave us a magical day in Sintra and let us help decide what we wanted to prioritize. Highly recommend asking for him if you’re taking a Lisbon on Wheels tour!

Amazing half day tour with Jose - My 10 year old daughter and I booked a half day tour w Jose. He was the perfect tour guide: super sweet, flexible and knowledgeable. He tailored our tour and went out of his way to show us places off the beaten path. He did not go by the clock at all. Our half day tour ended up almost a full day tour. 10 stars!!!

Need atleast a full day for Sintra and Cascais. - Our driver was nice but a half day trip is too short to be able to truly enjoy and appreciate Sintra and Cascais. Also when we went the trains were not working because there was a strike and so there was more traffic than usual.
