Our guide and small group... - Our guide and small group was perfect for exploring! We learned a ton and were able to connect as a group. Our guide made us feel special, provided fun surprises along the way, and even gave us recommendations for the city of Lisbon as well afterwards. Great way to see Sintra. Timing of everything was great. Only thing I did not love was the location we stopped for lunch. The food was good, but expensive and we had to pay that set price in cash only, which was a bit annoying to me. Otherwise, fantastic trip.

Great balance of nature and palaces - The tour was unique and very informative and interesting. I appreciated the balance of seeing one of Sintra’s palaces in detail alongside the incredible natural beauty in this area. Our guide David was friendly and warm and answered all of our questions. As a solo traveler, this was a fun way to meet a few other people traveling on their own.

Great day in Sintra - Our tour was excellent. We enjoyed the castle, beach and lunch. Joao was a very good guide who made the tour fun. We spent very little time in line like other visitors. I would strongly recommend the Epic Tour of Sintra.

Perfect day excursion to highlight the best of Sintra. My 11 and 14 yr old daughters had a blast! - Loved our day with our guide, David. We brought our 11 and 14 yr olds daughters, and they loved it. it was the perfect combination of riding and sightseeing.
David and his company have premier parking at the castle, and their restaurant connections gave me one of my best meals in Portugal! He did a great job of learning the people in our group and what we wanted out of the day, tailoring it to each. His van was equipped with a frisbee and ball for the beach - which made it even more fun. Thank you, David!

Good tour to explore Sintra - Marta did a great job with the tour. Spent some time at various places. I recommend this tour if you want to have a feel of Sintra.

an enchanting day - Marta was the most wonderful tour guide. She is so passionate about Portugal and excited for us to experience Sintra and our small group has an amazing day. She did a great job telling us about Sintra all while driving us through the winding streets. The sights, food, and overall experience were everything I could have asked for. She even had a few surprises for us along the way!

Awesome day trip! - David was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable and kept a great pace the whole tour. Each stop gave us enough time to enjoy the different areas of Portugal. The beach was amazing!!!

Not Your Typical Sintra Tour - Even Better - This is a great way to get a taste of Sintra. If you are looking for a tour that is palace, palace, palace, palace, this is not the one for you. We got to spend a long time at Quinta da Regaleira really soaking it in and learning about it. The trip to the beach was beautiful and a nice post-lunch break. Take the time to walk to the cliffs for some Insta-worthy shots. My favorite part was probably the Mystic Forest (aka Fairy Tale Forest). We got to finish with a little time in nature and see a different side to the city. Lunch was also great. Our guide, David, did a wonderful job sharing in the history and information not only about Sintra but also about things to do and try in Lisbon. (And great music, too!)

Would not recommend - The gardens, the well and the caves were very interesting. Our guide didn’t provide many facts about the places we visited. He had a lot of details about plants and trees but very little info on the places. He was frequently speaking to only 1-2 people in the group and others couldn’t hear him. Even in the van he was so soft spoke we continuously had to ask him to repeat or speak up. People in the back basically gave up and just couldn’t hear anything. Lunch was fine. The surprise at the end was a horrible liquor that almost no one drank. We’ve toured a lot and this is in the bottom 5% for us. Would not recommend unless you want to learn a LOT about plants.
