Thank you very good - Very good tour thank you david This tour was the highlight of our Lisbon trip! Pena Palace is absolutely stunning – it looks like something out of a fairytale. Our guide was friendly, funny, and knew so much about the area. The drive was smooth, and we got to skip the long lines, which was a huge plus. We also visited Cabo da Roca and Cascais, which made the day even more special. If you’re in Lisbon and have a day to spare, don’t think twice – just book it!

Great day trip from Lisbon to Sintra and Cascais - Great day trip with David who was very knowledgable of Sintra and history of the area. Defiantly worth doing the tour with the palace included (many tours don't do or offer this) as its first up in the morning, beating the crowds in which is much more pleasant. Tickets get sold out so don't bank to buy on the day. Note as its early Sintra can be in the clouds/mist so you don't get the blue sky images (if thats your main thing, look for a trip with a visit later in the in day, but you will have the crowds). Time in the town is at the own free time, David recommended local sweets to try which we got to, but we spent most of our time visiting the Regaleira which is worth seeing for the famous well, gardens and palace. Its an 8-10min uphill walk from town. You need to get your own ticket for this, if you want to book in advance check times that fit with the tour, 11:30 was the preferred time for our tour. We were lucky to get tickets on the day, but only just so don't rely on that. Because of that lunch was a quick sandwich which was fine for me, but others did take lunch later in Cascais with their free time. Roca was an intresting stop but Cascais was great to see, can spend your time either swimming in one of the four coves/beaches or exploring, which I did but wished I brought my swimmers as the water was stunning. Defiantly try ice cream at Santini, has a line but it moves quickly. Beat the rush hour traffic back so was back in Lisbon by 5ish. Only thing that was not as expected was the transport, was a much older van, rather than some of the more modern ones seen around, David did make sure everyone was fine temperature wise, but just wasn't expecting anything as old, so do pack phone chargers if needed as defiantly no place in the van to charge. Other than that was a great day that covered everything I wanted. Thanks.

Agnieszka K - I highly recommend the trip to Sintra, which included entry to Pena Palace, time to explore Quinta da Regaleira, and stops at Cabo da Roca and Cascais. Our guide, Rodrigo, was very friendly, punctual, and eager to share both historical facts and interesting stories about Portugal. He was also very helpful – he assisted us in purchasing tickets for the attraction we were most interested in, which made everything smooth and well-organized. My daughter and I saw many beautiful places, and we’re really happy we left Lisbon for a day. For me, this tour is a must-do when visiting Lisbon. I give it 100% and 5 stars. I sincerely recommend it to everyone!

Highly Recommend - Highly recommend this tour to take the hassle out of trying to get to Sintra & more from Lisbon by yourself. We saw lots of people hiking it up the mountain in the heat and being on this small tour meant we were dropped at closer places with a tour guide who could lead us everywhere, had the tickets organised etc. Would definitely recommend you add tickets to Quinta da Regaleira (the well experience is incredible). Pick & drop off from the hotels was also a huge help. Doing this tour meant we got to see MORE in 1 day than if we had tried to do it all ourselves. We had Rodrigo and he was incredible - informative, fun and such a great tour lead. He made the day go so easily. Highly recommend for people visiting from Lisbon !

A wonderful experience, thanks in large part to being part of a tour!! - My wife and I went there today as part of a group tour (Inside Lisbon, which we HIGHLY recommend). We arrived at the castle about 9am, which felt early but in retrospect was the only way to do it. We were in the first time slot (9:30am) and given that everyone around us was also in a tour group, we realized that the tour companies must buy all the early entries into the castle. My wife and I paid the 3 euros for the shuttle ride up to the castle because we did not know how steep it would be, but after deciding to walk back to our bus rather than take the shuttle again, we felt walking up woould have been fine (we are in decent shape). Our tour leader took us on a guided tour of the castle, which was truly amazing in terms of the architecture and designs of the rooms. Outside, the view of the surrounding area was fantastic! I really don't see how you can visit Lisbon without going to the Pena Castle - it is an amazing place and history lesson. We really don't have any negatives
